Couesnut. 2 six volts will give you the longest battery life. My understanding is they have thicker/heavier plates in them which holds more storage. There are pictures in the RV 101 thread on how to hook them up.

Well I went to check my cams this morning and someone popped the retaining strap loose on one of my cams at 3:48 yesterday afternoon It was still hanging from the locking cable. I know it was a human because something was moved that could not have been done by an animal. Nothing special coming in and looking at the deer I think the archery season is to early, they have a lot of growing to do yet. I had a trigger job done on my 700 years ago and it was good. Tightened up my groups allot. I gave my build this summer to a smith up here to bed the new stock, mount the Conquest ,check the crown, give it a good once over and tweak the trigger a little more. Let me tale you that man knows how to work a trigger. Same gent that did Gino's and will swear by him also.

As R.R. suggested to me, and I am glad I took his advise. Burris Signature Series, Med. height. They lined up perfect without having to get offset inserts.

You may want to check at a RV parts store. There is a clear tape that is used for awnings. I think it would work pretty well.

No pictures of them. I think they let the strap loose so the cam was pointed towards the ground so they could walk around. They could have/ should have just covered it up with a hat or something. When the camera is in video mode it takes a still picture and then takes the video. I am really surprised a digital cam would make a noise they could hear
