From a couple years ago but I'm sure the info is pretty much the same.

Ron has plenty of info for you and whatever he doesn't have I can get to you as well.

Congrats again! You worked hard for that buck.

Man, that's a great looking buck. With the hunter holding the buck it almost looks like an Easter Whitetail. -

Congrats! I'm in a similar boat as you. Have 3 kids at home that I didn't make but am lucky enough to raise and now have a baby girl due in May. -
Great write up and story! Your Grandpa would be proud

I had that tag a couple years ago and it was awesome. My suggestion is get ahold of the WM and volunteer for their turkey survey that they have every year a week or two before the season starts. Great for scouting and you will have access to all the information as to where they are locating birds.

Pig tag for me but nothing for my daughter.

My buddy got his kids the Howa .243 several years ago and it's been a great gun for him. It came with 2 stocks and is easily interchangeable so he is able to use it himself and the kids can keep using it as they grow. As for synthetic, I love the look of a wood grain rifle but prefer the synthetic for my main hunting rifle. Especially for kids. I will be setting up a 7mm-08 for my girls next year with a synthetic stock.

Great buck. Congrats!

Typically pre-make burritos and freeze them prior to the hunt. Eggs, cheese, and breakfast sausage or bacon for the mornings. For lunches/dinners I usually do burritos with chicken and sweet potatoes

Nice work! Congrats

I buy mine every January just to ensure that I don't see a lion while out deer hunting.

Bought this off a Member from CWT several years ago and ironically I'm selling it for the same reason he did....family is getting bigger and need some extra seats now that my girls are getting old enough to hunt. Hate to see it go and If I had more room in my garage I would keep it for the trip the family isn't going to be coming with. Specs: 2008 Polaris Ranger 700 XP Good Condition 321 Hours 3924 Miles LED Bar Winch Half Shield $5500 Since the trailer will not be able to fit the new machine it needs to go too $1000 Let me know if you have any questions or would like to other pics.

Will be picking up newer Ranger in a couple weeks and my current trailer will not be long enough for the new purchase. Anybody have a trailer they were thinking about parting with or know of somebody else who is? Any help would be appreciated.

That's awesome! Congratulations on a great bull. I know that area very well and have packed several bulls out of there of the years....always rewarding when you're done!

Been a great machine for me the last several years! I now have 3 little girls at home with one more on the way so I need some extra seating to get them around in the woods. My 10 year old will be going on her first deer hunt this year down your way in November.
