Very cool, congrats to you both!

You have to work hard to play hard. Not just in school but when you finish and eventually start your career. Get your grades up, that's a part of being a kid

Your wife and girlfriend are going? That must be awkward... -
The deer densities down there are much lower but they are there. I've seen some nice bucks in those junipers but they don't come around very often. If you want to get up into the pines you will see a lot more deer, but like you said, a lot more hunters.
-
If you go a little lower you can hunt them like coues deer, except instead of looking up you will be looking down at them. Find a high point and glass, they will be there.

That is awesome!!! Congrats to both of you

I've had pretty quick service when they had to repair my pack a couple different times. What I do have to say is that between my Eberlestock and Badlands I'm not very impressed with the Badlands any more. I'm thinking that they have to have good service because their packs just don't hold up that well.

Good work bud! Congrats on the bear.

Great bull. I like the freaks and geeks!

A couple of pics of my buddy Ron's bull from yesterday. When he gets off the mountain he plans on putting together a story on the hunt and adding some pics and video we have. http://teamkendrickoutdoors.blogspot.com/2...prelude_14.html

My "Do It Yourself" Bear Hunt.....

Sweet! Nice bear -
Theoretical question of course.... Closest road to a site that you have been placing salt is about 1.5 miles away and the trek to get there covers a pretty substantial vertical climb. The salt lick was started 3 summers ago and last summer was the only time you skipped and didn't have a camera on it but decided to see if there were still animals coming into it this summer. You get there only to see that someone has placed their own camera over the salt lick you had started. What would you do? A. Freshen up the salt and place your camera on the tree next to it. B. Say forget it and skip that spot this year. C. Steal their camera. D. Leave them a note and find out what they are scouting for. E. None of the above

Went up and checked the cam last night and found that the other hunter had taken theirs down. After loking at my pics I'm pretty sure they were looking for deer too as the pics were full of elk and does. No bucks.
