Great pics as always

I'm still trying to figure out exactly were they think all these bucks are in 7 that would warrant almost 900 tags for the general season plus an extra 10 during December. If anything they need to scale that unit back to allow for the deer numbers to rebound. They finally did for the elk in that unit since they have been crushing them the last several years.

Just bad luck right now for you, and 5 really isn't a lot of points yet. Took me 8 years to draw my first elk tag and then I have been fairly lucky since then. It's no fun waiting but it will eventually happen for you.

They feel that the elk are hurting the Aspen stands up there. In the past they have just been allocating more tags for the general seasons to "fix" the problem but most of the people have been going down low and crushing the herds there because it's easier access. These hunts are forcing people to decrease the population in the area of interest. Was hoping a post like this didn't hit the forums...making me feel like my chances are dwindling...

This hunt was supposed to be a secret...

I would also suggest Billy and his wife Karin at Priority Pet. They are great vets and run hunting dogs themselves. -
That's awesome, congrats!

Only saw one group of muley does with a buck yesterday and he was a small 3 point.

Congrats to you son on a great deer...and also whacking one of those stinky pigs

Fantastic job on the buck. The broadhead just adds to the great story

Intentionally rude or just ignorant?

The nice thing about tank jumping is that you should have a handful of other tanks to hit after that. Bummer about the first group of birds but that shouldn't ruin your day. If they waved I'm sure they thought you guys were just being friendly as they drove by. Sorry if the responses aren't the sympathy you were hoping to receive. -
Awesome, thanks for sharing.

Got mine in the mail today, a few days after everyone else got theirs. From the looks of the cover and the creases in it I think the mail men decided to read it for a few days before delivering it Looking forward to reading it myself.

Fantastic man, congratulations!

That is hilarious! Is this your video? -
As many of your probably already know I finally killed my first elk this past season. A lot has gone in to this accomplishment and I can't explain how excited I was to hold the first elk of my own. Been holding out on posting these few pics until now but I want to thank my Papa for getting me introduced to the outdoors and being my role model. In honor of him I was able to wrap a tag around my first elk this year. For the entire story and more pics you can check it out here: http://teamkendrickoutdoors.blogspot.com/2011/12/i-finally-did-it.html

Just now getting around to putting together a couple stories and pics from my whitetail hunt earlier this month. Was able to help a couple of buddies with their first coues deer and then took one home for myself. Had a great hunt and was able to share camp with a handful of guys from the forum. Looking forward to getting out again next year! B Wilde and his first ever big game animal Stan and his first coues deer Both of the bucks were taken within an hour of each other on the first day of our hunt And on the final day before I had to head north to help Jay on his archery bull tag I was able to put the hammer down on this guy. For more pics and the stories of each you can check them out on the TKO Blog

I know he showed up in an Eastman's issue a couple of months back so I'm sure he's still around....not sure about the taxidermy though.
