Well, I'm happy to say I got a hit. I suspect either hunt 3026 or 3101 since those were my first and second choice. Eddie

    WTB IPhone

Does it have to be an 8? I might have access to a 6S+ for reasonable money. A coworker asked me this week if I needed a phone (I didn't) and it might be available. Eddie

Broke ankle in 16A need help

Thanks for the links rossislider. Good stuff. Added to my cart. Not sure what "piece of mind" you are talking about , but if you want "peace of mind" for your wife, get yourself a Garmin InReach Explorer+. They can be had here used for $300 +/- $50 and money well spent IMHO. You'll need to purchase a subscription when in use, but the cost is very reasonable IMO. Eddie P.S. Glad the OP is okay and on the road to recovery.

Where are you located? Got a make and model for the tire chains? Makes it easier to determine which size tires they fit. Eddie

Looking For Family Camping Ideas For Late March 2020

Thanks Edge and biglakejake and both places noted. I forgot to mention I recently purchased a decent metal detector and doing a little gold prospecting with it is not out of the questions. Keep the suggestions coming. Thanks, Eddie

Strange things found while out hunting.....

This is just hilarious, but it got me to thinking, which usually doesn't get me very far. Males (or those that identify as male) are most often hunters and hikers. So do you play the percentages and say this was brought into the wild by a male? Not that there's anything wrong with that! Eddie

    Home Video/Security

We've had Arlo Pro (720p) cams installed for about 1.5 years. Not much easier out there to set up IMO....uses batteries and wireless. Batteries last 3-8 weeks depending on config and activity. The cams will miss some motion (even on big objects) but it's better than nothing and super easy to set up. If the need gets out of control where we live, I'd go wired like others have suggested, but for now, these work just fine. Eddie
