One of the nest tests you can do is to plug the laptop into the router with an ethernet cable. Shut off the wifi and do the speedtest.net mentioned above. If wired speed is the same-ish as your wifi speed it's the router, if the wired speed is giga-fast then it's your computer. Word of warning because Cox are not the best advocates for fair billing. The faster your speed is, generally means that you can have 3-4 devices pulling full speed downloads without issues so you reach that terabyte cap really quickly. I've got a couple of high-schoolers and almost every 3 months I get a notification from cox saying they've helpfully added $10 to my bill because I went over.

I got the same chrono for christmas. I took it out on BLM and shot firearms and my bow through it. It was pretty bright with the sun overhead and it reported consistent numbers for both. I'd say an umbrella or 10x10 shade structure or backing up under your porch would be easier, but I had no issues. Admittedly it was December sun not June.

Hi, I’ve got a last minute chance to head to AR to tackle some no-bag-limit geese with a group, but only have an 870. I’ve been on the fence for a while at getting an M3000 or A300, so am really looking for that type of shotgun. Anyone got one in their safe? Camo? Extended mag? Thanks!

WTB M3000 or A300 12g shotgun - found one ..thanks cwt

Thanks! I’ve shot the A300 and it worked pretty well.. I haven’t had a chance to shoot the stoeger, but saw the extended mag options, and the cheaper price and was excited. ‘I’ve thought about the 870, but wondered if we’d be lying down (‘not sure of the set-up) then it’d be a pain to cycle .. but maybe I also just wanted an extra gun .. probably the second. we’ve got 3 days and 6 guns, so hopefully it’ll be a good time! Any of those berettas burning a hole in the safe? -
That's clever.. I had the app, but never thought of using it for location sharing!

Great story! It's always good to have an unfairly lucky person in your group! She's kept the streak alive! Thanks for sharing!

dang.. that's... dang.... -
Yeah, I found that too.. half the hassle was asking them to do the chore. It's almost magic having it happen automatically. They request payment, and I either accept or adjust it based on them doing their stuff.

We did this. I created a board and used golf tees to show the balance. Problem was they my kids were savers and then would cash it all in. It was like a run on the bank so I switched to Venmo since it was real cash and if they wanted to drop all their savings on a thing, I wouldn't have to figure out how to honor it.
-
I set up each of my kids with a Venmo account and I have Venmo. So they could transfer real money to me when they wanted to buy something, or if they needed cash. It works really well because their friends have venmo and the kids swap money all the time. It's free, transferring money to and from each other is free, and if you need to add money from your bank its free. Works amazingly well and my kids know what dollars are worth. Venmo is completely free for transferring between venmo account and and for the bank transfer.

The New York Post mixed up Pennsylvania primary and general election data when saying there were vote-by-mail irregularities having more votes than voters. The courts have been over (and over and over...) the claims, and there just wasn't good evidence. I think if evidence is found now, it should be escalated and examined and learned from, but nothing has been shown to support the myriad ideas on why the election was stolen. -
Hi, I was new to archery a year ago and bought a ready to shoot bow from Bull Basin in tucson. Over last few months upgraded the rest and sight. If anyone is getting into archery or building a bow for a kiddo and can use these let me know. the sight has an illumination light and tool-less windage/elevation adjustments. Ed

I really like the Rid-A Rat. It was recommended to me and I've been running one in each of my toyotas. There are a lot of products like it, but from what I read at the time (2 years ago), the AA battery drain is really low on the Rid-A-Rat compared to the other blinking LEDs. I've had both mine running for over 2 years. still blinks nicely, and even bouncing around the roads in the 36s the magnet has held firm. I recommend it, especially since it doesn't use the car battery. FWIW I also puff construction chalk on the surfaces under the hood and would always have little paw prints. I don't see those anymore. I also have a few little pockets of poison tucked above the wheel well, that don't appear to be depleted.
