Didn't have to do cloth diapers but we were using muslin rags to clean the baby up for a couple days before we got some baby wipes. That was special. Lol... I had a few dead down wind field wipes in my pack that got used up too.

Were people hoarding them? What planet have you been living on? No... I wouldn't buy more than I needed. And as a matter of fact... when we did end up getting more than we needed we gave the extra away to a single mom. As for your moral authority comment... if you can't figure out what I meant then gas and ammo aren't the only shortages

I was comparing a need to a need. Lol... try having a spitting, sh!tting 4 month old and no baby wipes. I'm still traumatized. Nevermind the fact that I'm 47 and too freakin old to have a new baby.
-
And who knows... the people in the photo might need every drop of gas they're taking. I have no idea. I'm speaking about those who are hoarding and will turn around and sell it for a huge profit. As far as the ammo thing goes... until we're in a civil war... ammo is a luxury. If you're making money off ammo, good for you for being smart.

Guns and ammo are TOTALLY different. You having a lot of guns and ammo isn't preventing anyone from getting to work and feeding their family. Not even in the same universe. I have zero issue with how guys are doing things with guns/ammo

This picture reminds me of when I had a 4 month old baby last year and couldn't find baby wipes anywhere because idiots were hoarding them. Thank God some friends hooked us up. I get that it's smart to be prepared but you're also taking something someone else might need. With something like fuel... if you're taking more than you need... you're a POS

Yeah... its ALL really weird. I'm not anti-vax at all, I'm just choosing not to get it right now because I was exposed a couple times and never showed a symptom. But... all this bribery is definitely unsettling. I've seen everything from free food to even free cigarettes... yeah... figure that one out... lol

Did anyone see rule changes about trailcams?

Thanks man!! -
I was just looking at the 2021-2022 rule changes and I didn't see anything about any new trailcam rules. Am I missing something or did it not go through?

I wasn't sure where they were at with it. I figured if they were going to have a rule change for Jan 1 2022, it would have to be in these regs. I guess they could put it in the spring regs though. -
I'm ALL for cutting tags and OTC hunts if needed but this year it was pretty sweeping. I worry what will happen to the bottom half of the state come Dec and Jan. The desert is already getting slammed with NR's... who don't know wtf they're doing... this will just add more. Gonna be a pain in the ars.

The only units that have January rut hunts but no early archery hunts are desert units. It's always been that way.

Oh yeah... BUT.... I'm in Phoenix Mon-Thur for work. I might be able to sneak off for an afternoon/evening

I know right? He tells me about his new boat and that he usually goes alone.

Satellites shmatellites... why the heck wasn't I invited to go fishing?

If the majority of the meat is going to native tribes and they push that angle... it will be amazing press. Better to go to natives than the bloodthirsty rednecks.

Awesome post title.... 😂😂😂

Oh don't forget... its Federal Land. You gotta wear a mask. Sorry... couldn't help myself. 😁😁😁

Early elk in 23 is an amazing tag to have in your pocket. You'll likely never draw that tag again. I would DEFINITELY hire an outfitter and get a fully outfitted hunt. You'd be amazed how much more you can put into your hunt own if someone else is taking care of all other details. Not only have they done all the scouting, everything else is taken care of too. No stress setting up camp. No early mornings making your own coffee and breakfast. No cooking dinner when you've been busting your ars all day. That stuff takes a lot of time and energy. It's pretty nice when you can get plenty of rest and your sole focus can be making a good shot.

That would make too much sense.

It's horsesh!t. No... I mean that literally. They don't want horses or mules on the NP because of what they might be brining in their guts... meaning invasive weed seeds and such.

The "fair chase" angle wasn't working so they changed tactics. Same thing politicians do. I can guarantee there are 100's more cases of conflict over people sitting water and first come first served issues over the same time frame.

I was actually considering applying but... they plainly said this isn't a "hunt". They might as well have said "don't plan on enjoying yourself." The way they describe it doesn't sound fun at all. Plus all of the possible negative attention from the media and anti's? Sounds really yucky to me. "Lethal removal is conducted under controlled circumstances under the direction and supervision of the National Park Service". ^^^let your brain imagine what that'll be like... lol
