I'm surprised they park 100 yards away from you. They try and park next to me like it's some kind of parking lot! Etiquette is almost non existent. I really wish I didn't love to hunt so much. Used not abused. actually carried in the field so the body has a few scratches. Optics are mint both objective and ocular lens are flawless. All functions are flawless both fine and regular focus knobs are smooth and have no play. I really don't want to part with this but I have two spotters and way to many projects I'm trying to finish. Have the original boxes and paperwork. Is non hd version but anyone familiar with leica knows that really doesn't matter. Awesome glass. arizonawidernesshunter, one thing you may find with steel. Your normal choke with lead loads will be far to tight. Took me a long time to buy into this but finally started using an improved where i would normally use a mod. Mod when i would normally use full. Made the world of difference. Turned my cripples to kills and many misses to kills. Was extremely counter intuitive and I was way too stubborn. I puddle jump ducks down south once deer hunting is over at least one a week until Jan. americanthunder. Also don't overlook using heavy shot or equiv. may be expensive but I sure use a lot less of it. Always have some steel around for cripples. Also for those of us without dogs. A fishing pole with heavy line, a really large bobber and huge treble hook will be your best friend when it comes time to get your prizes out of the drink. Wading in stock ponds can really suck and can even be quite dangerous. Had one heck of a fun experience with chest wadders and some very deep mud in the middle of a stock pond.

Ya I procrastinated. First time I trust them to have their ish together and it doesn't look like I'm going to get to apply for sheep or deer. The deer is no big deal, can always pick up a left over, but not getting in for sheep really makes me mad.

had two hunts in 33 last year in the family. saw plenty of bucks and one that was well over a hundred that i know made it all the way thru to february. by contrast my third choice tag was in 34a and that unit is an unmitigated disaster by contrast. there are idiots in every unit. i do however agree that if the game and fish doesn't cut back a bit in 33 it will continue to significantly decline in quality. In part because of the number of hunters but also because so many of them choose to hunt on top of each other. Seems the people have become increasingly ok with trying to crowd out anyone they think is in a "their area". feels like courtesy is a completely foreign concept to the majority. my point in all that was that i'm not sure 33 is worse than any other unit anymore. all the hunter opportunity is a major factor in hunt quality.

Actually, I absolutely refuse to have a credit card, a friend wanted to do it this way against my better judgement. I don't have a checking account. The institutions that issue both border on criminal most times and even dare to venture into the criminal at times. I do as little business with financial institutions as humanly possible. Cash is king. I work six twelve hour days, and the funny thing, Sunday usually is dedicated to my family, friends and oddly enough, sometimes even work. None of that really matters. As far as it being the departments fault. My customers/clients expect quality and service from me, so usually I expect it from the businesses/agencies I make the choice to deal with. The Game and Fish demands accountability from me during all our interactions. I guess I'm all kinds of wrong for expecting it from them. We the sheeple rarely demand accountability. Ever wonder why the service at many restaurants, retails stores, and almost everywhere you turn is poor at best. Because we accept it readily or even worse blame the person who chooses to point out the problem. Deadline is actually 7 but the principle still applies. But i know better than to rely on anyone else to do what they say and that goes double when dealing with any agency. Much more upset with myself. Man I knew I loved to hunt but I didn't realize this would about give me a stroke

GJMauro, thank you. Too late for that now too far in this traffic. Had to rant somewhere. And I know it's my fault for believing that it would all be ok. An hour and a half trying to get one application done. Timed out, service not available, getting looped back to the start page. Fun stuff. At least I'm almost positive I wouldn't have gotten a sheep tag anyway.
