  1. I know next to nothing about pistols. I've learned a lot about rifles, but there is a lot I don't know. I do know this guy has a lot of more expensive parts on his AR. It looks to be a very quality gun. It is a good looking gun and 18" is more desirable than 16", unless close quarters. If someone doesn't buy it I may have to make him an offer, even though I have enough very similar guns.
  2. Definitely not the smartest, but open to learn. I've spent a lot of time chasing AR parts. I'm having fun with them and have more than my fair share. One of my goals is to have an AR in every available caliber they make. Even though I have the resources, I am very frugal and I scourer the internet constantly. I try to put together the best gun for the lowest amount. And I have no problem sharing the information in a pm. Prior to 2014 I knew little about guns. Since then I have been absorbing as much information as I can daily. I became good friends with a guy who manufactured AR's. Unfortunately he had to close his shop with the economic shift. I am friends with a great rifle maker. I know some very knowledgeable people that I pester on occasion. I'm not a know it all, but I do want to absorb as much as I can, while I can. And I don't mind sharing.
  3. I understand, but $250? Like I mentioned, the bottom off brand 16" build from the cheapest source was $269 less a stripped lower. I'm extremely frugal but $250 was just a little rude. A base lower end complete and built is typically worth at least $350. This has brand named parts, not the cheaper ones. You make my frugality look like frivolity. That's quite an accomplishment! One person posted a generic AR15 for $650, later dropping it to $550. I would have paid only $375 for it, but this one is different. Probably worth more than what I would want to give but I seldom offer what others are willing to give. I'm not saying you are a terrible person. I'm just saying that your bid was extremely low and truthfully a little on the rude side, even for an AR15. This site in general has not been kind to AR15 sales, and perhaps we should be a little more polite. Maybe you were just poking some fun, but even so that "bid" could be considered offensive. Let's play nice in the sandbox together and everyone enjoy life.
  4. $250 was rude. Those name brand parts run more, although not always worth the cost. With this soft AR market and on this site, not the kindest on AR's, $350 for none name brand parts other than upper and lower to possibly $900 or more for all name brand, depending on the names. Last Thursday one vendor had a complete 16" AR15 build minus only the stripped lower for $269.00 + tax, free shipping. Stripped lowers have regularly dropped to $34.99 + tax. Sorry for the timing. In a good market $1000.00 + would not have been unusual. Maybe with the elections the market will move up. Nice build and 18" barrel.😁 Just curious, how were your groupings?

    22-250 savage FV

22-250 should be pretty "kick butt" for varmints and smaller game.

May be more of a GunBroker item. Very pretty.

Truthfully, the larger the Dutch, the greater the value, plus names may add even more. Size and names, as stated before, adds value onto condition. Don't short change yourself.😁

Yes, anything above 7 is too many! LOL

    For sale AR-15 Pistol

Impressive. Very full description and justification for requested price. Lots of great parts. Only two negatives are lack of funds by most people and a crappy AR market. Six years ago that gun would probably have brought $2,000. Looks like you had fun with that project. Wishing you the best.

    Ruger Mini 14 stainless 580 series $500

Just saw your post on the items that were stolen from you. Sorry that you went through that. I do have a small suggestion; if your price is firm, kindly post that in your header by your price. If it is Tucson only, kindly post that as well. Again, sorry for your past troubles and I wish you well.

    Sheep, goats, pigs FS

The sheep have been very busy this year. Time to reduce down the herd. We have Rams with horns worth mounting. We have ewes with single and double lambs. We have lambs weaned and ready to raise or smoke/ barbecue. Prices vary. Rams with horns are $150 to $475. Ewes with single lamb not weaned are $175 - $200. Ewes with double lambs not weaned are $275 to $300. Weaned lambs $75 and up, depending on size. We have two medium female goats (mother and mature daughter) for $175 each. We may allow slaughter discreetly on the property. Insurance and laws prohibit us from legally slaughtering for you. Your slaughtering is good practice for hunting. Near Bass Pro in Mesa. We have approximately 25 mature animals to sell. We also have two (Asian?) female pigs plumped and ready. Like very large potbelly or half-sized normal pigs. $300 each. No delivery or shipping included (can transport locally if a separate agreement is reached). No chemicals or antibiotics by us. As natural as we can raise them. Text 480 228-8380 and we'll respond at our first opportunity. Great lawn mowers.

This way you get the hide, meat, everything you want from them. Males have horns at different stages of development. Scrotums make great possible bags for mountain man/ black powder. Hides can be used many ways, including varmint calling/hunting.

I can trade a lamb and a ram with a nice rack. They have a lot of bones. Is that enough? Don't know how to send pictures from my phone.😁

That's what I figured. As a carry it might be a bit large. How did you like the feel? I've heard pro's and con's. My hands are smaller than normal even though I'm 6' tall. Nice when working on things but bad when gripping. Do you think the grip is much larger than a standard AR grip? S & W SD9VE is a little large. Keltec P40 is my carry and fits well, if you are familiar with them. I'm thinking the Springfield might make a good car gun or house gun. Sounds like a good deal with all of the mags. They add up and I like the idea of the possible total on hand capacity. Still thinking and appreciate your answers. I do have the cash. Oh, and sorry to hear about that guy's sexual situation. But I thought we were talking about guns. Since he doesn't give a dang he should step up and buy it, or do what it takes to lighten up a little, even if he has to pester his wife a bit more. Life's too short to be wound that tight.

At least 9mm cheap. 1 box per event can be enough to wear a person out. 20 rounds of some cartridges will really do you in (50 Smith and Wesson), much less 50 ends. 9mm not that bad. I wouldn't want to shoot 50 rounds of 450 Bushmaster in one sitting. But only 50 down the barrel. Did you decide it didn't feel right for you?
