Were you at Cabela's today? There was a guy there looking for the exact same barrel.
-
Hmm, I think I have one. I'll have to check it out. I thought because of the length of the barrel that that helped improve the twist for a 55 grain. I guess only actual performance will tell.
-
Just curious, is that an old Colt AR 15, or who is the manufacturer/model/length of barrel, if I may ask.
-
Check Americanreloading.com They have both new and pulldown supplies.
-
Check Camping World/Gander Outdoors in Mesa. I saw some different 7mm win mag. You may be able to call and ask. In Mesa, on Main E. of Gilbert Rd.
-
He's looking for one with some character already added, not new.

Camping World/Gander Outdoors has 8 boxes of 50rnd for $15.49 each, plus tax, on the shelf right now. A17 Varmint Tip
-
I may have an 870 20 gauge youth still new in the box. I think they were about $320. I'd have to double check. PM your info and I'll get with you. Mossberg made a model 500 in youth (Bantam?) that was pretty good.

Mec Jr time. Time to start reloading. This is crazy! Lots of YouTube shows how to make lead shot, if you have the lead. CAUTION! Lead poisoning is real and extreme care must be taken whenever dealing with lead. -
PM me. They are not pulled down yet. I have 9mm and 30-06 for pulling down. Although currently loaded, the ammo is for pulldown only! I did not reload and cannot vouch for the loads. 9 mm has load info on the boxes, if accurate. 20¢ per round on the 9mm and 30¢ per round on the 30-06. These must be pulled down! FYI Pulldowns are ammo of unknown or questionable loaded/reloaded that get pulled apart and then reloaded. There is a sound saying, " you don't shoot another man's reloads". So if you wind up with reloaded ammo, it is best to pull it down and reload it yourself to be safe.

A lot of 5.56 brass may not have 5.56 on it. So I use those even though 300 BO is obviously different from 5.56. For best consistent loads, use only one mfg's cases. Harbor Freight has the mini cut-off chop saw. Watch whose brass you use! Check to see which manufacturers have thinner brass. You need the thinner brass in this situation. Thicker brass with the 30 cal bullets tend not to feed into the chamber as well.

Available if you want it or need it. $11 per box. That's $0.55 per round. 5 boxes minimum (100 rounds in boxes of 20 rounds each box).

Too bad sometimes we can't live in the past. I don't know what's coming, but I'm doing my best to be prepared. I may be reducing back and simplifying.

The way things are going, the big push for defunding the police, that may become a necessity? Maybe not? I'm just feeling a little "blue".
