My son Is Not entered in but he could pull the numbers again for you if you would like. π

"Well, this Latin phrase, Uva Uvam Vivendo Varia Fit, is a running theme with Duvallβs character, Gus McCrae, and it can be expressed several ways (ready to be impressed with my skill in Latin?) A grape changes color [ripens] when it sees [another] grape. A grape is changed by living with other grapes. The changing vine becomes the living vine." OK, I cheated with Google. But pigs will never be Llamas just as Llamas will never be Alpacas, although they are very closely related. But I fear we have hijacked the OP's thread.

I have pigs, but no llamas, yet.π€£

Yes, but then my son forgets to close it after irrigating, and when it's dry, they step on them. The cost of raising kids.π
-
I'm finishing a 17-223 build. We'll see how well it compares.

SRP on the irrigation side may have a list of vendors for irrigation supplies, if I remember correctly. I hate it when a steer/cow or a horse steps on an open irrigation valve and breaks the brass bolt. Darn things are like gold, at least in pricing.π

I think my old eyes missed your asking price. Would you remind me please.

Looking for a few magazines for some Savage 93r 17HMRs. If you have some extras kicking around or some you don't want please let me know. A few of the stores have them, but checking here first. I'm in Mesa not far from Cabela's/Bass Pro. Thanks!

Thank you guys. I'll check with Savage. Yes, having issues and they want an arm and a leg for new mags. Need them for coyote problems and for the occasional youth outing.

Very nice, almost too pretty to shoot.

If you are concerned about Brody.mikesell, he posted on here before. He sold a gun safe in September 2022. He also inquired about a rifle back then. He's out of Payson/Pine area unless things have changed.

Yes, and I'm sure there is more. I do like the AR's flexibility, but I don't trust the polymer options for the upper or lower receiver, or buffer tube, etc. There is substantial evidence of problems and several of the sites are not clear as to what material their rifles are made of. As Matt eluded to, I posted extensively about that before.
-
There have been a few for sale on here. Search for AR and check them out. Also, on line, there are many sites where you can buy parts, or complete guns. Decide what caliber you want to start with, and then you can build onward from there. Have fun. ARs are the Tinker Toys/Legos/Erector Set of the gun world, in my opinion.π

Nice.

Wow! I have an 87 SR5 Turbo Extra cab 4x4 and a 95 single cab ( Hilux?) 4x4 both with under 120k miles. Guess I might think about getting them back on the street. I heard the 4 wheelers really want my Turbo.π€£

OK. I'm not perfect by any means or stretch of the imagination, but is anyone else surprised by the amount of dislike, anger, or just plain nastiness being displayed in this post, and on a Sunday which is considered to be a day for worship and kindness by many Christians throughout the world? Is the stress of politics, finances, etc. affecting us so much that we attack each other on a forum that we profess to have similar interests and goals? Wow guys, let's take a step back and take a breather. Yes the manufacturers say that synthetic oil is good up to 10,000 miles. But what harm to the vehicle occurs if the oil is changed more frequently? How much of the lubrication is lost by 3,000 miles especially in our harsh conditions of excessive heat? Maybe wasted money and may not be. And if the vehicle is priced too high for everyone then it won't sell. But what if it is worth that much to someone? If seller and buyer are happy isn't that a perfect deal? My values may not be the same as others, but does that make others or myself wrong? Should I hold everyone else to my value system? That sounds more like a different form of government than I wish to support. We just finished the 4th of July celebrations. Perhaps trying to remember why and what we celebrated will help us promote a more forgiving environment. Maybe if we put more effort and energy into researching and elected people who best represent what we want then we won't carry so much angst and animosity. I know I need to keep improving and reflecting and I invite you to do the same. Let's try to keep Coueswhitetail a great environment for all with a sincere and positive desire to share and help in hunting and it's natural challenges and rewards. Kindly and sincerely, Russ.

Old eyes, I didn't see it.π Under 10 hp is the limit, right?

30 horse might be a little big for the rim lakes, isn't it.
-
How do you really feel about it?π€£ I hope all is well.

Gosh, you're the first person to make an insignificant mistake on this site!π€£

Run for Justice of the Peace in your area. Not only do you get paid well but you get to keep the wedding money. I saw a JP making over 200k per year, double his county salary with weddings. BTW, the judges only work part time in court during the week..π€£

Nice. Very nice of you to do.

Too far for me and I'd be too late. Congrats Fern.π

Very nice! Wish I had somewhere to put it. GLWS

Or you can do what some of the guys do on here and be early in the buy and then jack up the price and resell them to someone who can't wait and/or is emotionally driven. Two to four years from now the next newest and greatest must have will hit the market. Are they that much improved that you can actually take your animal more precisely or consistently? Seeing the target more clearly beyond 700 yards still leaves the target beyond 700 yards. At that point one would think your scope and knowledge of Long range shooting is going to be the higher priority, unless you enjoy a clearer view of your Target running away. π€£
