What happened to the other ten rounds? 20 round boxes, so 160 - 13 is 147. But you only have 137 rounds left? And do you still have the brass. I am interested. What about dies for reloading?

I'm old. I remember when you could buy a box of '06 for........., let's just say it was some of the least expensive large rifle ammo. And that was only back in 2018-2019. I remember buying a few boxes from a guy with price tags for under $8.00, probably from the 70's. History sure is interesting. Welcome to the new standard of reasonable. Just is what it is. And if someone needs it, it is a good price right now. Thanks Vowell for doing your usual thing and helping people out. We will survive this too! These may become "the good old days". Best wishes to all.

I have several 30-06, from sporterized 1903's, 1917's to Remington 7400, 7600, 700, to Savage, and other makes. PM me with phone # and we'll talk. My kid's aren't interested in my guns, and I need just enough different ones to take the youth out. I'm going to down size some.

Happy Thanks Giving and best/well wishes to all of you. Thank you for the purchases and sales.and great experiences. And thank you for supporting the youth as well.

Don't know, but he left the forum bent hurt over an April Fool's joke, I believe. Anybody know where .270 (Lark) is now?
-
Lark would have wanted the 7-08.😁

I'll grab one or both. Up to you.

What gauge? N? HO? Etc. Has it been tested and verified to run correctly? Interested.

The funny thing is, I originally looked up the definition of Lark, which is basically to joke or go for amusement as stated below, which was still kind of fitting for the name. Do I thought he was playing a joke, which in a way he was. Funny how it wound up with a double meaning.

Anybody have a set or know where I can get my hands on a set? I wonder if I can just use the .17 Remington dies on a .223. trying to locate a barrel for an AR as well. Boys just wanna have fun!

Good luck. Best wishes.

OK, did some more "investigating". Lark, .270, was a member who hated the 7-08 and felt it was useless. He got angry about an April Fool's joke ( the changing of his name ) and left the site. A lot of poking fun at Lark has occurred. Search for Lark, or @Lark, on this forum and there are well over a thousand references. Sounds like fun times in some ways, but the legacy is dying? May be a poor choice of words. Interesting bit of site history. Maybe a revival, maybe not. Let me know how far off base I am.

I hadn't, so I looked up the meaning of Lark and that's all I know. Please let us newbies in on the joke.

Is it my imagination or are our summers getting longer ( measured by higher temperatures for a longer period of time)? Maybe it's just that I'm getting older. I posted this in a different forum and thought my fellow desert dwellers could relate. For those of you who have spent a summer in AZ, or who live here, I have a saying I think you will appreciate and relate to: "We live here (in AZ) because; if we are going to heck, we are already used to it. And if not, we can appreciate what we are missing!" I think summer is finally over, for this year. We wear jackets for temperatures below 85 degrees.
