Actually cheaper as well. Drill your hole to the proper size, cleanaway the dust, and run your tapcon. You can drill through your wood, but better to use wood bit for that. Then a concrete hammer drill and drill bit, canned air or air compressor, or shop vac., with eyes and breathing protection, and then run your tapcon. You could use liquid nails underneath the base plate as well. This also works for replacing tack strips for carpet on old concrete. Redheads were a predecessor to Tapcons. I guess it goes with my age.

FYI, for Old concrete you may be better off drilling and using Redheads instead of Ramsets. Ramsets may just shatter and chip the concrete.

Normal insurance won't cover a rental. Some people make money doing it. Many potential problems. Not returning, damage, liability if renter causes damage, injury liability. Good luck.
