With how hard it is to get a NR tag and how much you have to spend to build points I’m sure this is happening quite a bit. Might be the only way to get a tag is to try and become a resident in Utah anymore. Just need to make sure you do what is needed to be considered a resident. I thought you had to be there a year. Anyone interested in sharing an apartment for awhile to work out of? Im assuming someone complained or reported It which is why it got reviewed.

Glad this post shows who these two individuals really are. Outfitters and their guides seems to be breaking rules more and more; flying units during seasons, pushing wildlife with helicopters, harassing wildlife on strip, poaching, crossing unit boundaries while hunting, spooking animals off tanks where hunters are sitting, checking cameras while hunters sitting at tanks, causing issues with DIY buffalo hunters, locking gates, shutting down and trying to shut down private ranches for outfitter access only, etc..... I’m tired of seeing and hearing about outfitters breaking rules and ruining the hunter experience for everyone else. A lot of outfitters stay within the rules but a lot are pushing the boundary and crossing the line for sure. Just do not understand how any of them should be able to keep or get their hunting or guide license back. AZGF needs to step up and put more officers in the field to help keep hunters and outfitters honest One officer to cover one or multiple units is just not going to keep everyone in check. ethics when it comes to hunting just doesn’t seem to exist anymore.

How was the hunt Lv2hnt? Did you guys have the outfitter up there helping?

I have always owned Chevy trucks and they have been great to me; 1500, 2500 gas and diesel. I will never own a 2500 gas again based on MPG and would buy a 1500 before another 2500 gas. Own a Chevy Diesel now and a great truck and pull anything with ease no matter size. Friend owns a tundra and decent city truck that is bad on gas and doesn’t pull worth a crap. Dodge Power Wagon is great stock truck in hills with the coils but doesn’t pull very good even with air bags and not good on gas either. Another friend owns a diesel and nice truck with king cab but just not as nice as a Chevy IMO(hard to beat DuraMax/Allison Combo). I see more fords along the road side broke down pulling trailers then everything else combined. Grew up in MI so maybe this is why but I would never buy a Toyota, Nissan, etc.....even if they were assembled in US. Try to support American made whenever possible and we just make a much better full size truck though ford is questionable if better.

I’m questioning every bull that he has taken or guided. I haven’t checked but A3 probably has taken down all pictures of bulls associated with him. Makes me also wonder about bulls being taken in park and if that has happened.

No one is hunting near rez fence without knowing exactly where it is and when you cross it.

If you want to shoot the biggest ram and hunt with guys that have a true passion for sheep you have to call Tim Downs and Bob Kyhn for those units. Arizona Desert Outfitters are hard to beat also for sheep.

I thought this would be the year you got your Antelope tag Lance. What gets me is how some are drawing great elk tag multiple years in a row or 5 rut tags in a row, how is that even possible?

I agree! When you leave out of town and travel I try for the least amount of baggage and worries. Ship it and forget it, then enjoy the rest of the time there So you paid $300 for 45lbs? Sold my 2007 Chevy 2500 and have the second spare tire still. Never used and sat in garage 10 months out of year. $100 for tire/rim, not splitting. Live in West Valley and work in Biltmore Area.

WY has point creep for the popular Red Desert units. Like what bwp22 noted, you need more points to draw in max points and the % is very low in random draw. My dad and I had six this year but didn't draw 53 and thought we would based on draw % from last year. Hoping 2017 is our year. Check out Hunters Trailhead for draw odds.
