I noticed that at the top there is a place to start a poll? I couldnt figure it out.(computer dumb),anyone think it would be a good idea to take a poll to see how many of us would support a boycott of products used by USO,or at least write or email these companies.Its like big time atheletes,Im sure USO gets comped lots of equipment.hit this guy the only place he feels,his wallet.Steve

I agree Brett,its just the tip of the iceberg,I also have swarovski,crooked horn ,realtree and am thinking this needs to become an all inclusive issue.we do need to let these sponsers know that Arizona hunters will not be walked on.a full boycott of all USO and their sponsers is a good beginning.I dont take this out on all out of state hunters (or Guides),is a shame that this one organization can ruin so many dreams for so many people,I myself have 10 bonus points for 3 species,are these just out the window? what about my rights ? and all of your .

Amen Jade,nothing wrong with all the giudes I know,most love the outdoors and is a great way to be where you want to be and feed your family at the same time.have always had good luck with any guides I ve met.will have to say boycotting Uso at All sows we attend is a good idea,how can one guy ruin the fall hunt for all.hope he sleeps well tonite.Steve

couesdiehard,I agree with your thoughts on out of state hunters,i apply in other states and live with what rules they use,other states have caps on out of state tags,just goes with the territory.Lots of good folks hunt here from other places and abide by Az regulations,thats why its a shame,this blight is going to give all out of state tag holders a bad name.direct your anger where its should be,only on those sekking this ruling.Steve

if you were already drawn before this decision came down,even if the results hadnt been released ,isnt that unlawful in its own right to reverse a vaild draw ?.Steve

In all seriousness,this really has me stirred up,I am tired of being run over by out of state guides with big money lawyers,there has to be a way to find out who was drawn,could be alot of guys interested in taking on an unfair reversal.Steve

If they redo the draw dont they have to let you know if you were originally drawn,if not ,is there a way to make game and fish give up that info,id it effects all of us hunting from arizona we should have the right to know,hate to say it but if I was drawn after waiting for years and then it was reversed I would want to know ,thats my legal right is it not? just angry that a few unethical guides concerned with making money off a state they dont live in can ruin it for the rest of the hard working hunters here and outside this state. unbelievable.hope this doesnt change the whole draw,a little late in the game,would think the judge would rule after this years draw since results are basicly in,thats why they have lawyers I guess.good luck to all,keep the faith

everyone go to game and fish home page and read latest post from game and fish.we lost the 10% cap and a jugde has shut down the draw,no results for deer ,elk .unbelievable,I think this is USO at its best,but cant remember for sure if thats who started the case.I am sorry for all my hunting brothers and sisters ,this fall is going to be a nightmare.this ruling doesnt affect draws for bighorn sheep,antelope,,turkey,or buffaloe.A special meeting will be held at the state fairgrounds tomorrow at noon.anyone go please post.I have to work and cant grt to the meeting,I bet it will be heated

this a great topic close to many Arizona hunters,we are blessed with many trophy opportunities in this state and the chance to glass and stock a lion is at the top of my list,one of the last true animals at the top of their food chain.Ive been hunting 35 odd yrs and only have seen one lion and heard 2 others .Amanda this site is great with many people offering up heaps of good info.I have 2 chances on the San Carlos reservation this coming year,one for bear in August(unit C)and one for coues deer in Nov.would love any info on lions(saw you pics Amanda),would dearly love to finally put an end to a long quest,challenge is I want to do it without dogs,will carry a tag on both hunts........thanks to all for the info Steve

all good info and we all need to back fish and game in this.I dont know all the specifics but each state has different draw percentages for out of state hunters.Some like Colorado you need to accumulate bonus points for a couple of years for certain hunts.In other states non residents arent even allowed to draw for some species.All in all Arizona is very fair in a high demand product.We all want to get drwn each year but that is why we have such special animal harvests in this state .Personally I believe in ethical ,fair chase hunts with guides.Am not and never will be a fan of USO.Keep the fight going and we all will be winners.

Amanda,awesome story,this is a great site,glad to find a place where Arizonans can share their hunting stories and thoughts.love those lion pictures also.I posted a question in rife hunting and have received alot of help so far.After thinking about it for years bought 2 tags for San Carlos,a fall bear tag for unit C and a Nov tag for coues.would love to chat about any generic info you would care to share.never looking to pry anyones spots from them.once again awesome story,just starting my homework. jh ,thanks ,its wed,3:00 pm Az time,just got off the phone with San Carlos game and fish,was told the companion can be in the field with a recreation permit to help with getting game out and glassing or whatever,they cannot hold or carry a weapon.......but if they have a predator or lion tag ,they can hunt that species during the same time,they still need a rec permit I think

This site is great,thanks for the responses,I know the deer population is more spread out,also know there are still some monsters hiding out,I do have the optics and have glassed for many years,just still in a quandry whether to start hi or low for deer,bear should be prickley pear time if its a good crop,bear dont know whether to start east or west c,they dont divide the unit anymore,keep the info coming ,anyone need to know about unit 31 ,thats where Ive taken my deer and spent alot of time hunting there, thanks,Steve H
