When I hunted Mexico a couple years ago we watched coues deer feeding with cattle all the time. As soon as I spotted cattle I started scanning the area looking for the deer.

Happy Birthday Phil. Hope you have a good one.

I just put the leveling Bilsteins in my truck and love them. A lot better ride for sure. And it leveled the front end of my truck at the same time. I was due for tires so I just did everything at once.

I wear as little as I can when I hike into a glassing area because I know I will be heating up. I may be cold for a few minutes but once you get warmed up it isn't bad. Then once I set up to glass I put all my extras on to keep me warm. Edit : I was writing while firstcoueswas80 was hitting enter apparently.

Nice cat. Looks like the coyotes got lucky that time.

SOLO Wyoming Antelope hunt "long story, picture heavy"
AZbowhntr replied to Big Browns's topic in Antelope Hunting
Wow, what an adventure. That is a trip you will never forget. Great writeup and photos. And a couple nice bucks to top it all off. Congrats -
I 2nd what Lv2hnt said. You will be in good hands. They usually kill big bucks every year. And they know where they are.

Where did these videos come from? I can remember seeing this before. Just sure when or where. The best is "hey I like your hat but it isn't going to save you" in episode 4. On a side note I loved Grizzly Adams when I was a kid.

That is flat out awesome. And what makes it even better is he did it with a crossbow.

Congrats on a nice buck.

Performance of solid copper ammo or lack of
AZbowhntr replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I also shoot a 168 grain copper bullet. But it is the Sierra Match King. I have shot 3 animals with this bullet and none of them went more than a few yards. And I have never had a problem with expansion. Maybe it is the fact that the bullet is leaving the rifle at almost 3200 fps. I don't have any intentions of changing anything. -
Great write up. You earned that bull. Congrats
-
Congratulations again Hector. Well deserved bull for you and your dad. It is a stud with awesome mass. I got to hold it and it is impressive.

Looks like a blast. Congrats on a nice buck too.

Great price for the Jim White head. I have the same one and love it. -
Video of my son Isaac and his close calls with a couple bulls
AZbowhntr replied to GRONG's topic in Elk Hunting
How many times has he Isaac watched this video? That is quit the experience. Too bad he couldn't have watched you shoot a bull from right there. -
SwarovskiCoues, give me a call or text tonight or in the morning about meeting up. I sent you my number in a PM. Thanks

I was going to say that bull in the fifth picture is awesome. I don't know what he will score but it looks like it would be a bunch. Great bulls.

The best thing I have ever done is take Dwane Adams glassing class. Chef and I picked up a two for gift certificate at one of the ADA banquets several years ago. I always thought I was ok at glassing and knew how to glass. The one thing that his class really taught me was where and when to glass. As several of the others have said you can find Coues deer anywhere. But for the most part the numbers will always be the same. You have to be a machine when glassing and stick to a pattern. I have found by doing this I find way more deer.

I will take it if you haven't sold it yet.

The ducks definitely did not look like a #2 team in the nation last night. AZ always plays them tough for some reason. If they could play that high for every game they would be ranks pretty high.

I could help you if you were shooting the RL19. Sorry
-
Great bull. He sure had a will to live. Great video also.

Wow, there are some great bulls in those pictures. Hopefully the hunters you helped were able to take advantage of your scouting.
