Put a trail camera on them if you have one. That would definitely tell you when they are hitting them.

You are right Amanda. As nice as his trophy room is I enjoyed his porch even more. I joked to him several times about him almost causing me to get a divorce more then once because I stopped by to talk for a minute and ended up staying for hours.

It was a great memorial. Woody was one of the best men that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. It will never be the same going to Young again. I always looked forward to hanging out on his porch.

I have a Ruger 10/22 that I got from someone in the family and has just been sitting. It would make a great starter rifle or Christmas present for some youngster. The outside of the barrel shows some rusting but the inside is nice. And the wood is in very good condition. I have taken it out a few times just plinking and it shoots great. I also have an extra clip for it. First $100 takes it.

I have the Piranta and love it. For some reason I thought that they were coming out with one that has a little longer blade but basically the same as the Piranta.

Casey, nice write up and some nice bucks. We had some guys do the same exact thing on our hunt. Except they actually snuck by us and set up glassing 50 yds past us in the same direction. They had to drop off a ridge, swing around us and come back up onto it to get by us. And then they actually asked us if we saw anything when they walked out past us.

Congrats on some nice bucks. We actually had a helicopter flying around our camp at 4:30 in the morning on our hunt.

That is actually really cool. How far away was the picture taken and did you pick up on the eye or some other movement?

I ordered some when they were on sale for $75 over Labor Day I think it was. I took them on a scouting trip planning on wearing them a little while and changing them but I didn't have any problems at all. I wore them for my entire hunt without any problems either.

Those are both great bulls for any hunt.

We have always said the same thing. 50" added is about right. Those late season archery hunts are not easy. Congrats on a great bull for any season.
