What industry are you in? I was with Motorola and GE for a long time before taking the leap and starting my own business. I saw this type of thing happen from time to time. If you are trying to stay on then I would make sure you are covering your rear. It can definitely make working there much less enjoyable.

what to bring on mid January Coues Deer hunt
AZbowhntr replied to fire652's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I wouldn't be packing that spotting scope around that is for sure. In fact I would probably try and only use 10X binocs hat are high quality. As for clothing I would layer so that you will be ready for any type of weather. Depending on where you hunt it can be extremely cold or shorts weather. -
Cool left side. I would have loved to have seen that snow on the early hunt. Congrats
-
Can't beat that. Congrats to your cousin. That is cool getting a picture before he shot it.
-
I have hunted Mexico a couple times and whenever I saw cattle I almost always saw deer close by. Like others have stated it was almost odd how often I would see both together.
-
That is awesome. Would love to hear the story behind this hunt.

Great write up and pictures. I was up there and your hunt sounds very familiar. We saw a ton of deer and some nice bucks.
-
Great rifle. I have one in .308 that I got from my dad. I have killed a couple deer with it.
-
That is how you get your money's worth out of a hunt. Great bull. Congrats
-
Holy crap! Congrats on one heck of a buck. Incredible mass.
-
I was going to say the same thing. That is plain illegal.
-
Wow, great first buck. Congrats to your son and you.
-
Congrats, that is quite the accomplishment.

I have a few older rifles that are probably worth a lot more to me than actual money. I have my grandpa's Browning Automatic shotgun that he picked up in Belgium when he served on a mission in Europe when he was younger. Because it was manufactured well before WW2 I can't find any exact manufacture date on it. I also have his 300 Savage that he used to hunt with when he was younger. Then I have my dads Winchester M88 .308. The cool thing is that I have used all of these rifles in the past and shot deer or quail with them.

Digging the new '16 lineups so far!
AZbowhntr replied to rageinthesage's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
The way I buy bows is every time I draw an archery bull tag it is time to upgrade. I am on my 3rd bow right now. And imagine it will be a few more years before I upgrade. -
The best thing is one of those permits has my name on it!
-
I have the same tag and was up there last weekend scouting. There are deer and bucks everywhere. We easily saw 200 deer in two days. Every place we set up to glass we saw at least 25 to 30 deer. And lots of them were bucks. Only saw one that I considered a shooter but there were a lot of them. If you guys are looking for any deer you will not have a problem. That whole hunt is designed to cull out a lot of those younger bucks. Good luck.

Congrats to your daughter. I loved the write up. It really hit home. I have two daughters and trust me you are not alone.
-
That is awesome. Congrats to your son. Man there were deer all over the place up there. We were scouting and put at least two different groups onto some does that ended up shooting one.
-
Wow, great buck. Congrats to your daughter. I was up on the Kaibab this weekend scouting and didn't see one velvet buck. A few of them had almost black antlers that were in the burn area.
-
Congrats to your son. That is an awesome story.

I am here in Mesa right off Crismon and the 60. The actual Crismon creek runs about 50 yards behind my house. And I have seen it raging with water before. So I know I would have some water coming in my back door.
-
Congrats on a great bull Bob.
-
Congratulations. Looking forward to pics and the story.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am going to go take a look at some of them this morning so I can get a better idea of what I want. They are like a foreign language to me.
