Congrats on a great buck. Especially for your first.

Congrats on a double, nice bucks. I did that on a archery javelina hunt one time. The only bad thing is now you have to wait an entire year to hunt deer in AZ again.

Talk to Ernesto here on the site. He will be able to hook you up and give you all the information you could want.

My great buck, great blessing!

Dude that got me pumped. And to know that I will be the 2nd hunter to hunt that mountain and five days to get it done is awesome. A week from right now I will be packed and ready to go. Congrats on a great buck. -
Cool picture. I always like seeing the peaks sticking out of the fog unless I have a tag and then it can ruin a morning hunt. Here is one that I took once. Messed up a half day waiting for it to lift.

I have the 10X50's and love them. Great glass and a great deal.

That would be a blast. When you are seeing bucks like those it makes it fun.

Congrats on the buck. Where they rutting at all down there yet? I have a tag across the border the second week of January and was wondering how things are looking.

Great buck and tracking job. Way to stick with it. -
I can only view the Classified Ads if they are in the new content. For some reason if I go to the category and click on it I get a black screen with a tiny dot in the center. So I haven't seen any ads since it changed. I can't figure out why it only happens to that forum and none of the others.

Sounds like a good time. It is always fun hunting with good friends. Congrats

208muley beat me to it. Doesn't look like an inch broke off. Great bull

I have a versa pod bipod on my rifles and love it. I can get extra bases that attach to my rifles and then just use the same legs for all of them. They tilt and are easily adjustable for the side hills. And you don't have to have your legs on all the time. I keep them in my pack and they click on real easily when needed.

Wow, that is a cool buck. Congrats to your brother in law.

Are any of these applications with maps of Mexico available that anyone knows of? I would love to be able to download everything onto my phone and have one less piece of equipment to deal with.

Pretty Awesome First 13 Months of Hunting!

Well done young man. And dad too. I think that puts a lot of us to shame over the same time. -
That is awesome. Congrats on a great archery buck. Not many people are daring enough to take the chance of hunting down there with a bow. I have hunted twice with Temo and he is a great guy.

I have also been having problems with the classified section. When I click on the tap I get a black screen with the words "Gif 1X1 pixel" that the top on the tab and a tiny dot in the middle of the screen. But I can click on the latest post and see it. Strange

I use the shooter app on my phone and it is pretty much dead on. So I guess if I use the angle and through it into my phone it should give me the updated yardage. I don't really see any other real use for the rangefinder. I was thinking I would be able to enter all of my ballistics and it would match the real calculators.
-
I have a question for anyone that has this rangefinder and has set up the ballistics on it. I have been using the rangfinder portion of it with no problems but decided I would set up the ballistics portion the other day. Looking through the manual it appears that you have to pic from their zero of 100, 200 or 300 yards and out of 12 different trajectories. My question is, is this true? If my zero is 250 yds than it won't work unless I change my zero and can match up the trajectory with one of their presettings? There are several other things that it can do but it looks like they all depend on the ballistics that are input. Thanks for any help.

I shoot the Tika T3 in 270WSM with a Vortex Viper 6.5-20X50 scope and reading this thread was curious. So I just weighed it and everything including my bipod base that is attached it weighed 8.6 lbs. And it will shoot 2" groups at 500 yds. I will take that all day long.
