Backcountry vehicle recovery specialists in Prescott area?
AZbowhntr replied to MT_Sourdough's topic in The Campfire
I always dread something like this happening. I sure hope it all works out in the end. I have a 2010 Silverado and haven't heard or experienced anything like that. -
Pretty much from the Cherry Creek road down south all the way north to the rim has coues deer. Just get out there and glass. Glass the south and east facing slopes at first light and then reverse once it warms up.

I have the 10X50 Meostars and love them. Great glass for the money. I bought them from Cameraland for a smokin deal.

Anybody here that can bolt down safe into concrete?
AZbowhntr replied to PelaPapas's topic in The Campfire
It doesn't matter how you anchor it to the floor but you better know where that rebar is. I would talk to some concrete guys to see who you would need to have come out and mark it. -
Happy birthday Hector. Looking forward to getting up there tonight.

Was that the only rack stolen or did they break in and steal a bunch of racks and mounts? That really sucks no matter what.
-
So we have had two morning hunts already and not one picture yet. What is going on? Us guys stuck at home need to see some pictures. At this point I will take a scenery picture.

Been in a few mosh pits in my day. Usually came out on top though. Good luck with the ankle and the hunts. The hunting might not be the hard part. If you get an elk that would be a little harder getting it out. I would definitely want some help.
-
Wow that really sucks. Did they take other stuff from you home or just your hunting stuff? If it was only your hunting stuff it would seem like more of someone that knew what they were looking for. I sure hope you get everything back.
-
Not sure what language that was but I think they were screaming like little girls. And they shoot it one last time at the end to make sure. Just like I would have.

I am a home inspector and can almost always tell when a home owner replaces their own water heater. Do it right or you will end up having to pay a plumber to fix it when you sell the home. Plumbing is warranted and is supposed to be in proper working condition when you sign the contract to sell a home. I have seen some crazy things.

Can you imagine having to pack that rack around on your head all the time. Crazy.

Seemed like there was an old orchard at the Murphy ranch at the top of Aztec Peak if I remember correctly. Haven't been up there for years.

Here is a picture of the late archery bull I shot a few years ago. The bulls we were seeing were in some of the nastiest canyons once they headed for the bedding areas. They were up feeding until about 9 at the latest. I got lucky and this bull was with some cows that had come back into heat. He gave himself away by bugling.

I have had a few of those tags in the years past. I have sat water and spot and stalk hunted. If you have the time to scout and have cameras out you can do well on water. But we preferred to spot and stalk. I got lucky and everything worked out for me on my last hunt and took a great bull at 15 yards after a couple hour stalk. Good luck

My portal shows every leftover tag I have received and they all still say pending. So I am sure you are good to go.

BNIB Beretta 9mm Nano --- Eberlestock M5 Team Elk Pack

Where you located? Interested in the pistol. -
Got to watch the show from the 15th floor of Casino Arizona. Lightening was actually going up. It was crazy.

I moved here from Idaho and got into archery hunting because of the same thing. I am just not a big fan of the hot early archery hunts and velvet bucks. I am sure that I will be able to find ways to pass my time. I may end up hunting Idaho again and I have been wanting to do some bear hunting. Plus a buddy's son has a Jr tag that I can always help out on. Just venting mainly.
-
Well that was a kick in the rear. Mailed my apps on Friday thinking it would be a sure thing with over 200 tags in the unit that I wanted. Guess not soon enough. Or my envelope got there too soon and ended up on the bottom of the pile. Now I have to decide what I want to do this fall.

I would go to Airguns of Arizona if you ever have a chance. They have everything you could imagine including every price range. They are located in Gilbert on Elliot Rd.

Bob, there were two of the hunts in 36B that had tags leftover. There is still one with quite a few. But there were no tags leftover for the Oct. hunt for the first time.
-
Nice pictures. Looks like they are coming in to a camp fire.

smoking deal for someone.

They are great. I have a Tikka T3 in 270WSM and it shot a 2" group at 500 yds. If only I could shoot that good.
