I have a Chevy but I had Gunnell's do mine at the same time I bought the new tires for it. One stop shop. Made it easy.

Unfortunately if it was the people in the Jeep that picked it up there is little chance they are going to do the right thing. They had the perfect opportunity as they drove by. That sucks

smoking deal. I already have two and I would have bought them.

If you went out to Usury Pass to shoot you were about 100 yards from Accuracy Speaks. That is the gun smith there at the range. They have done both of my muzzle breaks and you would never know it wasn't part of the rifle.

Charlie Brown would be proud. When I was single I had one that sat on my back porch for a few months. All the pine needles stayed on the tree but were bright orange. That sucker would have gone up in flames in a heartbeat.

Or until the next version of ultra HD binoculars come out. Which will not be 15-20 years.

Great bucks. I have been waiting for some pictures to be posted from down there. Seems like a slow year down there. Would love to hear the stories.

That is an impressive list of animals there. Most of which I don't even know what they are. But most of them looked like they were on the side of a very steep mountain. Luckily you do your own taxidermy work. Congrats on all of them.

Congrats to your dad on a great buck. I am not sure who looked happier in that picture with both of you.

That is a cool picture with the snow capped mountains in the back ground and your dog on point. -
Got mine today too. Looks identical to the post above. They are built like a tank.

My neighbor had a friend take his truck into Walmart for an oil change. They drained the oil and filled the tranny fluid. Needless to say they wrote a check to have it fixed.

So I am in the market for a new bigger gun safe. I am looking to spend right around a $1000. What is the best safe for that kind of money and where does everyone find them? I have looked at Sportsmans and Tractor Supply Co. but know that there has to be several other places to look. Thanks

That is a great buck. Congrats to your son.

Thanks for the replies everyone. To me it kind of reminds me of buying new tires for my truck. It is something that I have to do but hate spending the money. I would much rather spend the money on another rifle to go inside it. Looking around it is amazing how much money you can spend of a safe.

Was it a one day sale or am I looking at the wrong website? I don't see any 30% discount. That would be my luck.

If I am rifle hunting I could care less. I wash my clothes in the same laundry detergent that we use for regular laundry. If I am going on a archery hunt then I will be a little more careful and wash clothes in scent free detergent and use the scent free soap. Otherwise I just pay attention to the wind as best I can.
-
I would also look at the Savage long range rifle. Hard to beat their out of the box accuracy.
-
Both great bucks. Congrats

I am left handed and do everything left handed except golf. Had a friend with right handed clubs that I borrowed when I first started back in high school. Now if I swing a club left handed it feels like a girl swinging. But I putt left handed. Usually take strangers about 2 holes to say something.
-
At this point I think I would stick with it and wait for the rifle tag. The way I look at it is with archery there are so many things that can happen that are outside my control. Rifle not so much.

Great job on 8 bucks. I don't think I could ever pass on a 100+ inch two point. How big was the ranch you guys were hunting?
-
Burr, that looks really cold. But fun. Although not so much after the pictures were taken. Congrats

The worst thing is that most of our pets have much shorter lives than we do. So we have to go through that over and over again. I had a GSP that I had to put down a few years ago due to liver cancer and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. I told my wife I couldn't even imagine loosing a close family member. Luckily the hurt fades over time.
