Best dog I ever had was a GSP. I saw the original post and am glad it worked out. They are a blast as long as you have an active family.

Where are you located? Or the pistol?

My AR is a varmint setup with a 20" barrel but I put my old Zeiss Conquest 3X9 scope on it. And I zeroed it at 50 yards. Most of my shots on coyotes are within that range. Plus as stated above it is on at 200 yards also.

Garage doors insulated / non insulated? Gauge ? Etc .
AZbowhntr replied to Eagle mountain ranch's topic in The Campfire
I just moved in the middle of this last year. My old house faced south and had insulated garage doors and my garage never got over the low 90s. My new house faces west and the garage doors are not insulated and it is incredible how much heat comes through the doors. I will have mine insulated before this coming summer. There are kits out there that you can buy. You won't keep all the heat out but you will keep a good portion out. -
23 and 27 late rifle

Cool picture with the javelina in the background.

That is awesome. Congratulations

I don't understand how a lion can walk out in front of a enormous train and get hit. How fast is that thing going?

Those are some great first bucks for the boys. Congrats

You could be starting a new thing. I will give 75.

There are a few chihuahua's running around my house and they think they could tree a lion until they actually come face to face. The first couple times I went to Mexico we hunted a ranch that was 6 hrs east of Hermosillo. It wasn't in Chihuahua but it wasn't far off. The mountain range off to the east was the border. I was with Ernesto and we killed some monsters that year.

I shot my archery javelina years ago at 3 yards calling them in. My arrow passed through his vitals and out the other side and back into the back leg leaving a compound fracture. That dang thing still went well over 100 before dying. I don't know how tough they are but that one didn't want to die. Good luck on getting it out of there.

That looks sharp. And the best thing is it is all you. Congrats on a great build. Do you mind sharing roughly what you have into it doing it this way?

I am currently on my 4th windshield in my 2010 Chevy. The original windshield lasted most of that. I have had nothing but a pain in the rear trying to get someone honest and good. One place promised a $50 cash/gift card but never produced and Safelite replaced it once while I was gone and ended up cracking my dashboard and to top it off was hitting on my daughter while he should have been working. Of course they wouldn't claim up to any of it. And I left the next day for a trip up to Idaho and got a chip that instantly turned into a crack on the way up there. So now I have two big cracks across the drivers side and numerous chips. But I don't want to deal with them and their cheap replacement windshields and horrible service. End of rant.

I can't imagine tearing off velcro anything out in the wilderness. There is no such way of doing it quietly. I guess if you did it like the strippers and do it real quick it would only last a second.

7 points 27 late rifle bull. Thanks
-
That is a stud whitetail buck. The width is only one measurement and all those points add up. Congrats on a buck of a lifetime.

I would agree with Foxpro. I bought mine online somewhere and was able to pick the sounds that came on it. There are 75 calls and I will never come close to using them all.

Congrats, nothing worse than getting sick while hunting. I lost my voice on my hunt this last year and felt like crap.

Coati down!!
AZbowhntr replied to brademan76's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
That is cool. I would love to get one sometime. I have been deer hunting every time I have had a chance and didn't want to mess up a morning or afternoon hunt. Plus I am usually carrying way more rifle than would be needed for one. -
I have a black diamond that has a bunch of different settings but usually try to go as low light as possible. They have some crazy powerful lights out there but I don't have any need to light up the entire side of a mountain hiking in to a hunting spot in the morning.

Lost a set of Vortex binos off Highline trail last elk hunt.
AZbowhntr replied to WalkingW's topic in Lost and Found
Cool. That doesn't happen very often. -
What is the biggest prime rib roast any of you have cooked in the oven. I have a 16 pounder for Christmas but not sure if I can do the entire roast.

AJI Sporting goods had one the other day. I was going to buy it but ended up getting the Ruger LC9s instead.
