It is actually code now. The pool pump has to be variable speed. Only a water feature can have a regular pump still. That is how people get past paying the extra $. They say that they are replacing a water feature pump and then install it on their filter.

I have done a couple on my own. Our current pool is the first one I had a company do. I am too busy with work to take the time off when needed. Like Redman I have all of the names and numbers of the companies I used. Our lists are probably pretty similar. Most of the trades will also give you cash discounts. So you can even save a bit more. Our last pool was over $50K to have done and I ended up doing it for $32K.

trphyhntr, what are you getting? I want to try the new Callaway Mavrik driver. I heard it is sweet.

Nothing here yet. Just checked the site and they don't have any info for me. I pay every year.

Oh that is just wrong!

Another late rifle bull tag. Two years in a row. I guess they felt bad for me having to shoot a small bull last year.

Well looks like I got lucky and drew another rifle bull tag. Now to wait and see if it is an early or late hunt.

My dad was a cowboy on a ranch south of Tucson when he was young and told me a story about him roping a javelina one time and his riding partner hog tied it and threw it up onto my dads saddle with my dad in the saddle still. He said it turned into a rodeo real quick.

When I see javelina.....

Those look really good. I had Southwest Meat Processing process my last javelina and they mixed it with pork shoulder. I had chorizo and summer sausage made out of it. Turned out great. I was amazed. -
If you haven't found any send me a PM. I haven't hunted them for a handful of years but we always saw them in the same place.

Great bucks and food.

Sorry to hear that. That really sucks.

Nice buck. I like the picture looking straight down. Looks very symmetrical.

Wow, that is awesome! Congrats -
What rifle do you shoot and at what ranges? That is one thing that you may want to think about also. 300 yard shots are pretty average. And some guys and kids are shooting way past that. Sometimes the canyons don't let you get closer. That said I have shot coues deer at 25 and 85 yards here so it can be done. Unless you are wanting to hunt alone there are good chances you could team up with someone on here also. Makes for a little safer hunt and not quite as lonely. The guys on here tend to be a little more hard core than the average weekend warrior that draws a tag and hunts a couple days without ever stepping foot in the unit before the hunt and not seeing a deer during the hunt. Good luck

I also bought mine from Western Honda. I looked everywhere and they had the lowest prices I could find. And they had great service. I had horrible service at Ridenow just trying to get a quote. They acted like they didn't care at all about doing business with me.

I can remember my first BB gun. I wanted one so bad and my dad made me wait until the very last present to open it. I had given up hope and was pretty much devastated. Lots of tweety birds died from it. But even better was when I got a pistol BB gun a couple years later. It had a holster and everything. I practiced my quick draws all the time. I remember shooting my little brother in the forehead with it.

Great ride. I bought one this spring and love it. My buddy has a General and we had both running during the late bull hunt in all the mud. Everyone that rode in both said mine rode just as smooth and was quieter. What suspension does it have? I want to upgrade mine to the Fox shocks.

Congrats on a great buck. This has been a legendary year for the family. What is Draysen going to do with the cape? I need one and would be willing to buy it if he is willing to sell it.

Congrats on a great bull. I had the same hunt. I heard of some nice bulls being taken but for the most part it was tough because of the roads. And I don't think we saw a mature bull that wasn't broke up. Some of them missing entire main beams. We weren't able to get into our "A" spot until Tuesday because of the high stream flows. We ended up taking a couple bulls late in the hunt to fill the freezers.

Hopefully everything heals up fine. My daughter broke all the bones across the top of her foot when she was about 3. Everything healed up fine except for the growth plate in one of her toes. She now has a short 4th toe. And my buddy broke his leg when he was a kid and it is about an inch shorter than the other one now. He has to wear inserts to level it out.

I bought a 2018 Honda Pioneer about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. I just got back from hunting and it did amazing in the snow and mud. One of my buddies had a General there and everyone said that mine was quieter, smoother with stock shocks and didn't fling the mud all over like the General did. I plan on adding some Fox shocks make the ride better this winter.

We had a couple unit 23 bull tags this year. I scouted about 5 times and had a pretty good plan going into the hunt. Little did I know or even think of what would happen if we got over an inch of rain over Thursday night and about 6" of snow opening day that we wouldn't be able to cross the creek for 5 days. And then everything melted within a couple days turning every road into sticky mud. Kind of made for a tough hunt. We finally settled for a couple meat bulls on the second to last day but it definitely didn't turn out how I had envisioned it.
