Alot of this kind of stuff goes on for sure. It sounds like the ruby ridge kind of deal. A bad plan gone hay wire. After the ruby ridge thing and the FBI killed weavers wife and kid and dog over a shotgun and some strange ways of life. they have even said they did not go about it the right way.

I knew nothing of the story I will have to read it and see it to have that part of history. It was for sure the shots to the head that sealed the deal because. When people are dead and no witness then you only have one side of the story to go by. There is nothing wrong with self defence in my book. I was raised there. You can not hunt the san pedro it is a rapirian area. ( spelling ). Some of the biggest bucks I have seen in my life have been on that river. What you need to do is find someone that has some hay fields along the river. When the bucks come in ithe evening you can shoot them because they are out of the river. You do not get much shooting window befor it is to dark. You should spotlight some of those fields if you want to see big bucks. Who is your uncle. Is he from down there..

I was out shooting a few years back and saw a body across the canyon so I hiked an hour over there to see what was up and it was a pair of pants and a shirt stuffed with weeds. It scared the heck out of me . I still wonder what the crap it was out there for.

That is a hard thing to get past. I have seen a few dead people in car wrecks and street bike wrecks and will still see them in my mind every once in a while. That is why I fill for our military and police personel the most is they see it every day and have to live with it. They are truly heros for doing there duty.

Yes he was the guy that found the 6 month pregnant mexican lady dead. It was while he was hunting coues deer down southeast.

Well there was one mule deer buck and one coues deer buck.WAS!!!! Great trophies guy's.

I think I have been busted because of a yote one time. I darn near steped on its tail and it bolted out and the deer spooked. I think he was wanting the deer as bad as I was. I hve been busted by that never ending covey of quail. Yea you know the one that just flyes far enough ahead so you can jump them again and again all day. I think the worst one so far was when I busted myself with that out of the blue snezzzzzz. It was either that or blow every vain in my head.

I sawq this picture broken down on another site and you can actualy see that the lion was put in the photo. They even have it with an elk infront of the lion. I still think it is a cool photo. FAKE OR NOT.

I had two quads on this site for sale at one time. Sold one to tucson john and pulled the other one while treestandman was looking at buying it. The reason I pulled it from the sale was I had beat two guys to a spot one morning and hunted it when they had the same plan. The only way I know this is, my brother in law and I were only about 100 yards away when they pulled up and we could hear them talking about us. When we got back to the quads mine had been pushed of the canyon and roled over once. It ended up bending the frame and bars. Good thing my brother in law had parked his in a spot unseen buy these guy's. We used his to help pull mine back up the side of the canyon. That was not rude but just plain mean. I saw there camp the day before and know the truck and camper well now. When we drove past the camp on the way to ours it was all packed up and gone. I do keep my eyes open for the truck and camper every hunt.

I have been on both ends of this one. One year I was coming up a canyon and over half way up I came up on a guy under a bush. I told him I was sorry and headed up and over in the direction I was headed.He was glassing down and I headed up. I went another 100 yards up the hill and jumped a small 3x4 and shot it the guy then came up and chewed me out because he had been watching that buck all morning( yes the one behind him and up the hill). He got so crazy he picked up a rock and acted like he was going to hit me with it. I told him to calm down before I had to drag him and the deer back down the hill. I guess it can go both ways. I have also been very upset when someone came tromping through the spot i picked and worked for all day.

Hey I know that spot very well. Did you poke your head in that hole to see if it hooked to the caverns. Or maybe a nother set of caverns. Nice pigs for sure.

Holly crap That is a great buck. I would take him over some of the 100 + inch bucks saw this year. You do not see something like that evry year.
