Hey I have an idea when amanda is gone. why don't we just give the new moderators heck so they get a good work out. Just joking. I think Ernesto has a mean bone in there some place and may just nuke us all off the face of the forum.

So Az Wallow...
COUESAZ replied to Azlongears's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
I think your right Brian. It is a nice cat, but those are fox if you ask me. And if you look at the cacti behind them you will see they are closer in size than they look with out looking at that. That time I got red X's and hit the left buton and clicked on show picture and the showed up again. -

Hey you are right. I see the little critter too. he is running like that bobcat is on his tail. -
Great idea Amanda. It will help you out tons so when you get back you do not have to go through as many things to get it all back in order. It seems like when some people know you will be gone they show back up and cause problems.
-
I was just getting ready to say what Amanda just did. If they come across them first they will fill up on them and not be down on the pears.

That last buck has a few eye gaurds. Great pics. -
I know just how you fill. My Lab "Gus" Died of the same thing. It is best to help your friend along so it does not have to be Sick any longer. I did not know my lab had it until one day he was just full of air and all swelled up. So my friend who is a vet came over and felt a growth the size of a vollyball in his gut. It had swelled up and blocked his intestien. four minnutes after my friend looked at him he died. we had him for about 10 years as well. Talk about a gentle giant.

long long distance shooting
COUESAZ replied to muledeerarea33?'s topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I would say most my coues shots are over 350 yards. I like long shots and would not think twice about shots out to 500 yards if given the time to get a rest and shoot. The last mullie buck I shot was just at 500 yards with my 25-06. One shot to the neck. I will say I was aiming for his shoulder so I do not know what went wrong on that one. -

I would agree that someone saw the camera after they had done something wrong and they took the proof with them. All though you would fill that someone that breaks game laws would not have a problem with taking the camera with them. -
You do not have to have a wind sheild. Just eye protection. You do not need signals at all. You will need a miror. They make them that fit right on your grip area. You need a horn. very easy to install. I think your plate has to have a light on it so it can be seen at night Very easy to install as well. If you buy it from a shop you can tell them you want it street leagle and they will do all that. Or you can take it to one and they will do it as well. I have done two of them before and it is easy to do your self.

I think that coues buck in his drawing would be perfect.
-
Nice pictures of your mounts and that old school whitetail shed. Hey nice drawing at the bottom of your posts as well. What does it say just above that drawing. What does it mean.
-
Like said above you have to have a off road plate for your atv. You should also pack a phot copy of the registration. The catch to everything is if you are on a maintained road or a numberd forest road you have to have your bike street leagle And plated and tagged as such. I was given a warning for all of those at one point or another by sherif deputies.

I AM PISSED OFF!!!!

I hear ya mule33. I was raised in St.David and we always had our guns in the racks of our trucks. That was when you could still fist fight and not wonder if you would be stabed or shot. I think today you would have the national gaurd called on ya. But then again when I went to school Red Dawn was the big show and we all thought we just might have to run for the hills and fight for our lives. ( we were a bunch of dumb kids for sure). -
Good on those bear hunters for finding that crap and helping out as much as they can. Like I have said in the past I have run across a few meth labs out in the desert areas around the valley while out prospecting. I did not incounter any people that I could see. I was glad to be able to back out with my life. Even though I was armed and could defend my self if needed I did not care to have to. This is another reason to be prepared to protect yourself while out in the field. You better have somthing have it close enough to use it if you need it. Most times you have at the most 10 seconds to grab your gun before you will be shot yourself. Usualy less time than that. You have to remember that in most of the cases of running into the folks that run the operations. They are not looking for deer and tracks so they see you long before you know you are in trouble. You will most likly be alone while they have two or three with them. Just some food for thought for those that thing they will never run across some thing. It is always a hunter that finds the dead bodies and the hunter that sees the drug runners and bands of border runners. We must be vigelant and not dead so be mindful of your suroundings.

Need Help Scoring this Carp

Very Nice length and some ok mass Most the way out. A bit shy on the spread though and that makes a diferance. I would say 180 at the most but most likly a bit shy of that. Looks to be a solid 4x5 to me the one side is hard to see but you can see a sure 5 and eye gaurd on the one side. Almost touching in the back That would make a outstanding mount. Very nice Buck in my book for sure. I would shoot him with no problem (other than the shakes)
