There is a guy selling a polaris quad and trailer on craigs list. I may buy his quad but do not want the trailer. he said he would sale them seprate or part. I think he would sale the trailer to you for around 400.00 I will give you his number 480-288-9773 He want 3000.00 for the quad and trailer. It is a polaris 325 4x4 Expedition. If any one is looking it is a good buy. I am thinking about buying it but do not realy need it right now. So if some one on here is looking and beats me to it it will save me some cash.

I was raised on the san pedro and there are some nice bucks down there all year long. They are there but not seen much. They will dwell between the river and the farms. Just pick a spot with good travel and set a camera up to see what is useing it. If it has lots of shoe tracks on the trail you will know not to set your Camera up on that trail

I hear you Jorge G.

Hey the guy in the cowboy hat looks like the guy that came and looked at my air compressor. We talked a little hunting and had a little talk. I like horses and mules but it depends on where and what i am doing as to what one i would rather have.

If they were not so bulky a road flare would be nice they will light wet or dry and burn in a steady down poor with no trouble. One thing to think about is if the area is soaked your fire building stuff will just be dead weight in your pack. So what you need is a good strong fixed blade knife. Then you take a branch that is a few inches thick to beat on the back of it. Then you take a bigger peice of wood and split it open by a method called battoning and inside the wet wood you will have dry wood to make a fire. I always have a leatherman or a swiss army knife with a good saw blade and that helps in splitting your wet wood as well. I will try to get some photos up on this practice .

If you want a good video to wach go to sportsmans warehouse and get the Ron Hoods video He is the top in the game if you ask me. I pack a black contractor size garbage bag in my back pocket of my hunting pants and a couple in my pack. It is the one thing i would choose to have.It is a way to keep the cold out and your heat in. Your first priority should be to get some kind of fast shelter for yourself and that is the fastes way. I can and have buit shelters to stay in over night while out on trips. you can fill the extra garbage bags with leaves and stuff like that and use it for a blanket.and you would be suprised at how warm you will stay. Try to find a spot that absorbs heat all day. Like a rock face and it will help keep you warmer through the night. For starting fires i take a 100% cotton cotton ball and soak it with vaseline and then i take it and put it in a squar folded aluminum foil so it is inside of the folded foil. Then when you need it you take and slice a small x in the foil. and pull a wick of cotton out and light it ( it will even start with a striker). You would be amazed at how long that will stay lit. When the fire starts to burn down just take your leatherman and pull out some more and it will stay lit for around an hour. This should give you plenty of time to start a fire with it. It will also do to keep your hands warm. I can get long winded on this stuff so i will just try to keep it down to the questions asked.

i would have to say some type of shelter. a black garbage bag or a tube tent. you can survive a few days with out food and water but exposure will kill you over night if it is bad enough. If any one wants to talk survival let me know it is a hobby i take serious. Infact that is how i got into the knife sales. Infact i have expanded that into the sale of survival products to so if any one is interested in it let me know.

Hey Josh those old mine roads in that area have scared the pudding right out of me a time or two as well. They do make the perfect quad trails though. I di it one time on a polaris trailblazer andd the whole trip i was wondering how the heck i was going to get out. I still only have a 2003 trailboss and have been in there a few times on it as well.

Well the new baby has arived and being i work for my self i have to come up with money to pay the hospital for this new hunting buddy (#4) I am selling it for 3000.00. They are great family fun and can go places that will shock you to get there in a Golf cart. Look around you will see it is a good buy.
-
Thanks for looking at the cart It sold and left my house about 10 minutes ago. It only took me a couple hours to sale it.

In great condition. A porter cable 60 gal compressor. Looking to get 400.00 out of it. It was bought by an older man that used it in his garage for about a year and then he passed away. His son took it for a year and never used it and i got it from him.. The son wired a cord on it for 110 but it needs wired for 240 i belive. They do not come with cords when you buy them new so they can be hard wired to 240. This is what it looks like.

It says 15.2 cfm and 7 HP Peak

No problem Jim It worked out just fine this way. If i was still going to be guiding next year i would have made some time in my schedual to get it. It was just not the right thing at this time for me. I am glad you gaot it and i know it will be used for sure. Hey I think i was hunting with Travis while you were hunting with his brother for coues deer this year. I think his bro is a deputy or a cop of some kind. If i am guessing right you must be the Jim he was talking about. Good luck with your hunts and your guiding this year. I do have a top notch guide to send your way if you guys need any help this year.
-
Yes please do not hold it for me if someone else has the time and money right now. I would like to get it but i am working days and evenings right now just trying to keep up with my workload right now. You have been very kind to keep letting me put it off day after day but i know you need to sale it and understand if you sale it to someone else. So have at it Jim and the rest of you and if it is still around when i hit a time to relax i will swing by to look at it.
-
I could sure use another video as well. Put me on the list. Mossback that makes it even better.
-
Dang i guess i better get over and look at it so the list will stop growing. I am sure the response is just the same on MM forum.

What's your favorite thing about AZ?
COUESAZ replied to stanley's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I love evry thing there is about AZ. I spent two years on the East cost and i would not live there if i had too. I would have to say that besides the best wildlife AZ also has the finest looking ladies in the USA. And the majority of them live right here in the City. Yes my Wife is one of them And my daughters are fallowing in her footsteps.
