China camp is a Quad area. It can be good if you can get up in there.

I wish i would have waited a few weeks longer. I just bought another polaris, But 2x4 not 4x4 for that price. I would have picked it up for sure. That is a good price.

I know what unit the twin to that buck lives in. I see him year after year, But it is in AZ not NM. There is also a mule deer buck that grows just about like that in this unit as well.

A fire sure could run on them in that area. I sure hope they play it smart on this one or it will afect me on my hunt.

If i had a Blind up and came in to find a guy over it in a tree stand i would walk over to the trail and start building me a new blind right smack on top of it. Then just set down and wave at the guy and yell out have seen anything yet.

Two years ago we saw two does with 6 fawns. We just joked about them being at the baby sitters house.

If i came up on a spot that someone had set up for them self and took the time to make it that way and left a note i for sure would walk on. I think that the guy in the stand has the problem for taking the spot. I say this is a diferent issue than some one blocking the road from others though. I have seen lots of bad situations come from issues like all of the ones that have been mintioned.

I also had a guy that brought me a gun that he could not get to adjust the right way. I have done many guns and scopes for people. I shot this thing for about an hour and could not get it to zero in right. Then i sat down and looked at it closer. He had the up and down for the right and left, And vise versa. I do not know if this could be the case or not. I do agree with 270. that taller rings can screw you up a bit as well. Ar you trying to keep your open sites or do you just like taller scope mounting.

I would say to learn to shoot from the pant's down around your ancles squat. That seems to be when you see the biggest bull on the mountain right. They seem to not care if you are taking care of nature calling. Keep bow or rifle close at hand when in this position as well.

Yes good job on a nice Buck. Tell your son he did a great job. I hope he gets a big coues to put next to that buck. We all know the best trophy will be the Coues buck . That is why there is a JR hunt set aside for our young hunters so they have a good chance of getting something like that to start them off on the right foot. I can't wait for my son to be hunting. He is six this year and it will be his first time going on a real deer hunt with me. we are both excited about the hunt.
