Make that six I hear that Coosefan and Shortpants are in some Magazine that I will never see. I hear all Jim had on was a Bow string. At least Shortpants had on some shortpants. -
I have been told the same thing for the same reason Jim. I love to glass for game. I bet it is out of this world to glass for sheep i have never done it but sure would like to. I would like to see that monster fat ram that Scott and i think Amanda glassed up last year.

I have an Old browning high power. It is a veit nam era one and it still fires away with now mess ups. It is very acurate as well. It stay's in the safe and i do not shoot it anymore. It has double stack mags with the slide rail adjustable sites. It has the groove in the back side of the grip so you can slide a rifle stock on to it. I think it is the captain model. -
I was out in the mountains north of scottsdale and south of cave creek working today and it was great to have the rain.

I need one as well to remount a 20 year old coes mount.

Just remember you have to keep it 4 or less inches to pack while archery hunting. So all the 6 inch 357s will not be your best choice. -

The XD's are a great gun. MY brother and a couple friends have them. I just got a taurus pt24-7 and with a bit of time behind it i will get good with it. It has 2 15 round mags so i can have 30 rounds of 40 cal with me at all times and with 2 extra mags in the back pack for when i am not hunting but out exploring i will have 60 rounds. (yes i just learned addition so i am showing off by adding that up for you all). I had a taurus 357 for a few years and it was the most acurate hand gun i have ever had. I traded it for a peice of prospecting equipment and kick my self all the time for doing it. -
Man I sure like that buck. He has a good spread on him.

Garrett sounds great Bud. Thanks for taking us all along on your hunt for your coues deer. Looking forward to your posts on your pig hunt keep us updated.

I am glad you posted this. This was the only one i had ever heard of being said to be a true hybrid Being taken in that area.I have seen one more monster coues buck back in the late 80's that always ran with a herd of mule deer and even rutted with them. I saw it fighting mule deer bucks to breed mule deer does but it had the body and tail of a coues buck.. Intresting write up.

I will head over to AZO and pm you. WE do not want to perk to many opf the coues hunters to our other hunting. Then the copetition will be just as bad as coues hunting.

Dennis congrats on two fine bucks for you guys. Glad some of the info helped you out a bit. Looks like you got better info than i was able to give you as you hunted another location, But it looks like it turned out great for you. I am glad you were able to score.
