I know we do not have grizz in AZ anymore but we do have a good amount of black bear. This is just a reminder for us all as we start to scout and spend more time in the field.

This old girl can cover some country and cover it fast. She is showing a very good nose so far. She is also showing to handle the hot desert just fine as well. Well with a tag on the way in the mail My trips to the sportsman will step up a bit. But today i saw a silver dodge truck pull away from the sportsmans in mesa with a coues sticker in the window. Could it be that Younghunter is working there again to earn money for the hunts coming up. To bad i missed you man maybe we will see you there next time.

My brother and I drew unit 31 Nov-Dec. Its been awhile from the last time i was in unit 31. We will see how it turns out. We are glad to have this tag. Last year we had the Goose egg.

I grew up between unit 30b and 34b ,32. Used to be some monsters in those units. I wish my boys could have seen it int the 80s and even the 90s. We have hunted Coues our whole lives except a few mulie hunts. Man the deer i have seen in those units.

Maybe try one of the outfitters on this site and set up a self guided hunt with them. They can get you all set up in a good area. Or try one of the scout srvices also they will scout for you and give you all the info you need. I have done both of them with our guide service when we had it and it helped out of state hunters with hunts in the past.
