To late I smell the hot tar already. Those unit 27 locals can get real mean about those areas. I have had a couple threats made even.

This late in the growth i would go for the hard horn buck the velvet is probably damaged in som spots now and the old velvet does not look as good as the fresh velvet.

I was just listening on the radio. I get so sick of people saying they will not vote either way and they are going to write in a name, Because we need to vote for who we want to elect not the lesser of two evils. This guy on the radio said the problem with this country is that we should hold elections for all those that want to run for presedent then we do not have to vote for the less evil candidate. So i thought we did vote for that. I voted for Mitt Romney and many others voted for others than what we have to choose from now. Well the majority rules in that election. McCain is who the majority wanted so now he is the man for us on the republican ticket. So get out and vote for the man and do not waste your vote. I will not change thing for the better to write in a name not on the ticket. You will not be looked at as some hero for standing down.

I like the group of people CNN picks for ther people to tell who won the debate. It is all Obama lovers with one McCain suporter. And the panel they have together of the group of everyday Americans. Ya right some of them are republican or ind.

The bad thing is this post has no good direction for any of us to go, Because we are right on both sides of this issue. You can not come to a hunting forum and talk up good reasons to lock gates and expect to be treated like one of the good old boys. That is like going to a ranching comunity and talk about good reasons to enforce llaws about running less cattle on this land. It is not like a long line of Cowboys will be in the street to shake your hand and thank you for trying to explain the reason. I know they already lower it every year. It is not right to do to the rancher, but also not right to do to the outdoorsman that pays state taxes as well. So you see what will not work its self out here? (this topic)

Well the last word in your post was very grown up as well. I understand why you lock your gates. I was raised right in the middle of 32,34,30b area. and have seen most sreas worth hunting closed down do to hunters as well as ranchers. The ranch i hunt in unit 34B is locked off as well. you have to call the rancher and he will give you the combo to the gate. This is done after he takes the info he needs before you cross the cattle gaurd. It is not always sportsman shooting tanks either. I have seen a 2 wheel drive truck drive into an area shoot up a tank and drop the gate to the ground and drive off. They drove right out of the ranch and on to the highway.I later gave the discription of the truck to the game warden. He said yep that is the same truck the rancher identafied in the ranch down the highway. They caught them and they were not even hunters. just out to cause problems.

I did not vote John in the Primary, And still would not today If there was another choice on my side of the fence.right now he is what we have and the only other guy that stands a chance is way way left of the fence i am next to.John will not take our guns away from us. Hey I will tell you a spo to go see them. They are seen all the time in one ofmy prospecting spots. I will try to catch you at the house or maybe talk to you sunday about them.

First i would say debone and cut it up on the spot put it in bags and pack it out. no need to packk all the stuff you do not need. then you can fit it in most any pack. wide shoulder straps with a good waist belt. that is the base of a good setup. from there it will just have to be what you want in a pack. I still use the badlands 2200. I just sold my old one and got one of the new ones with wider straps. I was going to get another pack but thought i already know were it all goes best in the 2200. so why fix what is not broke.

OK i did a post on removing the letters from my carson inclosed work trailer. It is a 12 foot long by 6 foot wide by 6.5 foot tall. When i take the stikers off i can see the sun has bleached the rest of the trailer a diferent white. What i am going to do i think is remove the lettering and pictures from it and have the two sides repainted so it looks new again. so that will be 2 sides at 12X6.5 The front and back are fine and i will not paint them. What should this cost and does anyone on the site do this kind of painting I would rather keep the work in the family if you know what i mean. Or can i tape it off and use some sort of spray on paint my self.
