One more day and we are off to thatcher for thanksgiving with my wifes family and my brother and I have unit 31 tags for this hunt I cant wait. After not having a tag last year. We are ready to bust a Coues deer.

What about the little two and a half mile stretch on the side with telegraph was. I am going to be crossing that. Am i going to need a permit to do that little spot.

OK my trailer i had for sale was stolen this morning. It was a white four door dodge maybe a 2007 that took it. My neighbor said he saw it all take place. The traile has drill holes along the top rail from putting a pipe rack on top. The pipe rack is not there any more though. 480-220-5504

I was on a job about three years ago. Doing the plumbing on a safeway remodel. We worked nights on the job. I came out to find a guy in the bed of my work truck with a box in his hands. I got to tee off on this guy nose a few times and he got me once. Then a car pulled up and he jumped in and they took off. That was my best night of work in a long time. It felt good to fill like i got true justce that night. I would love to have that chance with the two dorks that stole this trailer.

Well it was a younger man that just moved in with my neighbors. Said he got home at 430 this morning and they were hooking the trailer to the truck. He just thought they worked for me or somthing and were picking up the trailer to go to work. He came down and told me he fills bad, Had he known he would have said somthing to run them off. The bad thing is they were driving a nicer truck than i can afford and they are stilling from me. Go figure.

My Nephew Arye killed his first buck this year. He lives in Wyoming and went hunting with some friends of the families. He also killed an antelope but the only photos i got of it came from a cell phone and did not turn out well enough to post on the forum.

You are right My family calls them rock deer because we used to see them in the boulder areas alot in unit 30B. Lots of guys have seen them with the little basket racks. I saw a full 4x4 that was no bigger than both my hand put together in the shape of a rack. Neat little deer. I would like to get a nice one mounted.

Come on Thanksgiving weekend. Turkey in Thatcher and then bucks in 31.

I want to catch one and love him and hug him and name him George. What ever i will blast those desert dogs when the chace is there. I do not go out calling them anymore but i will shoot them when i see them. If you ask me hunting coues and lions goes hand in hand. They are equal in my book of favorite things to hunt. right at number one.

Maybe he was a monster buck in his youth and rubbed holes in the ears with a big old rack.

Way to go Ron. What a great buck. That photo of Bob setting with his yucca pole staff sure captures the spirit of the hunt to me. That is what it is all about and why we love hunting Coues deer so much. Setting on a side of a hill in that kind of country keeping an eye out for that buck of a life time. You can see it in his eyes.I hope you enter that photo in the spirit of the hunt.

This is his first year hunting and has tagged the lope and the buck. He is on his way now. It is a sickness you can not shake as we all know.

My dad has a 99 dodge with the cummins setting in his back yard. He just got a new one. It is only 2x4 it is a dually and has the extra cab with the two small doors to get in the back seat. making it kind of a four door.

I have seen this done and have it on video as well. It is amazing to see the strength they have. I wish it was on disc and not a tape so i could post the video.

Yep yuck. His head would look a bit different had i come across him though. He would have been an India snake with a red dot on the fore head.

There have always been Coues deer in the lower country to the flats in some areas. I do not know enough about 33. If you are seeing deer than you are in the right areas. Just glass abit harder and longer and the buck will pop out.

Man I was thinking that the hunt I have from Nov 28th to Dec 4th was going to be a chance at a buck I have been waiting for for a couple years. But after seeing all the big bucks taken so far am thinking I may have made a mistake all that will be left in a couple more weekends will be baby bucks dripping milk from there lips.

OK if no one wants to buy a trailer then how about renting one when you need to bring your quad and gear to your hunting area. Or if you and a buddy want to take two quads and only one truck to save on gas. It is a 5x14 gravley with the 2 foot tall mesh sides. This is how you do it. I have seen it done by hunters a hundred times. just adjust your shot from the clouds of dust as you miss the buck. :lol:

Good luck is right. Good luck to find someone to let you run your dogs with theirs. Most houndsman do not want other dogs bringing bad habits into his pack. This is understandable as they worked hard or paid big time money for their dogs. Most, not all Arizona houndsman think they should be the only ones running lions. Now in Utah and New Mexico things seem different. They make a hunting party out of it and think the more the better. If you can find someone to teach you how to train dogs the right way you will be lucky and you will not find anyone talk about it on the WEB for a number of reasons.
