What's Up With The Signs
COUESAZ replied to wardsoutfitters's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Hey atleast you allow people on your land. I respect that totaly. The spot we hunted in unit 31 year only lets five hunters a year hunt on the ranch. When you grow up in a small town like I did and you rais cattle and have your own land to work. you sure hate people to come in a trash it. I was just talking with a guy about this same thing last night. I know ranches that the game and fish have built water catchments on for the rancher and they ask the rancher to let a set number of hunters to hunt it each year. They hand pick those that hunt it. that is how we got on the spot in 31 last year. We now can hunt it each year if we want because we respected the ranch and the land owners. -
It just might be posted around here someplace. Look for a realy long thread stated the Mullins did it again. WHo are the Mullins anyways. They must be some new guide service.

I have gone with the polar fleece pull over and use my rain gear as a wind breaker outer shell, It has cut down on i heavy coat. I am more into what will help me survive a night in the woods if i have to. So the first rule for me is some way to selter my body from the elements. throw a couple large contractor grade black garbage bags incase you do get stuck out over night they can save your life. The thing i would cut down on is a full three meals in your pack . That is alot of extra weight in your pack just for comfort. I throw a couple snacks and fruit in my pack to eat on throughout the day. Then when i get back to my truck or camp i eat a meal. I came up on a guy one time that was cooking a meal on a small stove. he packed it all day just to have a warm lunch.

I saw this add on backpage.com today. Remember when Jim tryed to sale his kitchen table or something like that a year ago. Seems he is always lurking in the background of his Photos. Remember you could see him in the mirror when he posted the table for sale. I still shutter when i think of that photo. Any ways look real close and you will see he has been working on perfecting his photography again.

HAHAHA I just thought i would tempt you into posting on the site it has been awhile. Glad you guys will be heading back to AZ to live. This state can not be beat.

I have killed plenty of Mule Deer in my life and prefer to hunt Coues deer. They are not even close to the same kind of hunting. The name of Carp first started to the fact they live in the low land and thus became known as Bottom feeders thus came the name of carp. Over on the rutnhard site they call coues Bluegill so be it. It just a little rib pokeing like we do to the Wildcat fans around AZ. But I do agree we need to be as nice as we can to others in our group as hunters. As far as this post you have going here. I hope you had a good time with shotgunsniper. Most guys I know would have done the same thing. When a man talks to a lady like he has to Amanda in his profile. He aint worth a spit in my mind.

I saw this once when i was in Highschool. Except it was a deer. My friend shot one and his brother shot the second one I was just along for the glassing. They both walked up and set there rifles against a tree and went to work on my friends brothers buck. His little brother did not bring a knife. So my friend finished his brothers buck as fast as he could. The other buck was between the two of them and the little fork horn stood up. We all sat there looking at each other encluding the little buck like whos move is next. Both guns were about 15 feet away in front of the buck. It finaly decided it would get out of dodge. Just then my budy out of fear stuck that knife in the side of that half knocked out buck. the blade punched o hole in the lung and the buck expired just a few feet away from its first resting spot. He had barely grazed the antler and knocked the buck out.

COUESAZ replied to mulie hunter's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I like going to mormon lake during the Archery Elk hunt and parking in the pull over spot on the highway. You see about five guys crawling around on there bellies trying to get up on them. The elk just go from une side of the lake to the other side and they never get close enough for a good shot. -
If it were not for one of the other Hunting sites I would not know that our sleeveless Javi and Coues killing Machine was getting Maried and bringing in another Family member to start shooting stink pigs. I have looked and do not find the topic on the CW forum. I dont know why. Unless it was posted and i just dont see it. Hint Hint one of our Younger guys.

You are right Amanda I signed out and could still see everything. I try to post links sometimes from the AZSJ site and have been told guys can not see the photos when i link them to the site . I have no idea why they could not see them. Anyhow Like I said this is by far my favorite site. I am on at least six hunting forums, six prospecting forums, four camp trailer forums, two or three treasure trove forums, about five survival forums, a few auto mech forums ( to do my shade tree work). I get great info on all of them. I was asked to join it from a PM on this site as well. I have even asked a couple guys to come over and share there knowledge on a subject. I in no way have ties to the Ruttnhard site.

I spot and stalk. I am not much of a fisherman either. No tree stands or blind for me. -
It is a good site. I have been a member for a while over there. A few of the CW family is over there also. But I do understand what you are saying Amanda you did not start this great site for others to use to keep people joining in on theres. I do this all the time not thinking people can not see the photos. i will post a link to the CW site with photos of deer. Then i get reminded by others they can not see the photo unless they join this site. I do it because i do not think it is right to take photos off this site and post them on other sites. After all they are the sites photos not mine. There is not another site around in my mind that compairs to the CW site. It is a huge deer If they gave me the go ahead i would post it for you guys.

Oh you are right. I remember hearing he even has some that say NO on them then you turn the lights out and they glow YES. It sure is fun when Jim is out of town ya know. By the time he reads this the truth will be out. Then he may delet the post when he sees it ya know.

Need I say more.

It is raining good here in Mesa right now. Storms in the high country sure are nice to see and be in but they sure can play heck on things. I hope it works in the favor of those Men and Ladies fighting it tonight they need a bit of a break.

That is great. All those Elk waiting for that skunk. WHo is the real king of the forest. Not bambi its flower.

We are going to have a lrag group camp over the 11th and 12 of sept on the east end of control road. We weill be at the camp area just befor the road to diamond point off of control road. We are going up for the day this saturday to get exact miles for the map into the location for those that have not been in there before. I am sure they will have it beat by then. People need to listen to smokey the bear a bit more. I think i stop and dump water on atleast one camp fire a weekend when we are out camping. People just drive off and leave them hot and full of lite ash and sparks. all it takes is a tiny bit of wind to ignite them. Heck we have even driven up on them still with flames on them. Some folks need to remember they are not at the dunes.
-
How far is that from Diamond point. News says started in a camp ground. What is the camp fire situation. If it is as dry as it looks no one should have a camp fire.
-
What a great buck. Are you sure he is not wider than that. Sure looks wider to me. Anyways no trick photos or anything on this buck he is a once in a life time for sure.

Why the heck would you have to go and say skinwalker whe n i am ready to shut the light off and go to bed. My wife is going to be mad when she wakes up to my mullins guide service night light glowing in the dark. What was that, who is there, I hear something. Hey wife wake up i think something is in the house. Go see.
