Seeing one.

I have seen some great elk and deer taken by road hunters. It truly is a game of chance. We were in 27 a few years ago and a guy that is disabled was driving around roads. This is what he has to do to hunt. He had just driven through the prime areas at prime time. Did not see anything but cows. On his way back to camp on a maintained forest road he had a 350 bull run across the road He was able to pull over and take this fine bull. I have also sat from a high ridge hunting coues deer while some road hunting mule deer hunters killed two big old bucks from road hunting. Just because i do not road hunt does not mean i do not expect it to not be done by others wether they chose to or have to hunt this way. It is all part of the game. Use the preasure to your advantage if you can. There have been road hunters as long as there have been automobiles, Just a fact of hunting that we all have to deal with. I just look at them and think, man if you could see the country i had breakfast, and lunch in. Now the stories of guys driving through meadows and off roads is what makes me sick.

Have they found his truck and jeep yet. I wonder if they drove him way out in the mountains and tosed him out. I have a great uncle that was picked up when his car broke down and they found him hours from the car beat to death. It will be intresting to hear the story of this guy and maybe help us avoid running into the same fate.

He also is a vet that stood up for our rights. He has four sons that sreve us in the armed services. Two in Iraq. What Dems can say that. He has every right to share his thoughts. It is OK to interupt every five words in aplauds and cheers that you agree with him during the speech, But you can not disagree. I just get sick of the double standard of the left. They could boo bush in same settings. They can protest everything from the war to cows fart to much. But we can not protest the ruin of this country. I find it great that the congres is starting to question almost everything this adminstration is doing. They are starting to question why we need czars on the payroll when you have the cabnet hand picked to do the job they are doing. The web of not for profits and the comunity organizers involved with them becoming leaders of this country to pay them back for there suport is call for true change in the next elections. I am with Beck on the fact that we need A whole new group of REfounders of our country to come along and save this country. I can not stand the true hate the far left has for our country. They are willing to destroy us because they hate us. Anyways i could go on all day with this garbage it makes me so angry. We need to come together as a new group and demand the government starts working for us not us working for them. The polls show that America is awake now and saying hold on one minute here why do we need this change so fast lets just take a look at what is going on here. I fill there is hope for America to stay on top and not become the rest of the world.

Cows and horses creat static Electricity. They are hit often that may be what drew the strike to the tree with cows under it. I get the heck away from horses when lightning starts.

I would mark him as more independant. I listen to him all the time. I am with him in every way. He wants what is right for this country. I think that he is just so frustrated with everything this new whitehouse is doing that he truly is (like he says) up the crazy tree. I am right up there with him. Rush, sean hanity, Glen Beck, Laura Ingrahm, Ann colter, even Bill O'Rily. Now if we could get just one main stream media station would jump on board.

One was o sunday. It was at the stoplight going west at southern and lindsay roads in mesa it was a blueish maybe fourdoor chevy (not full size). The next one was a blue four door toyota today pulling a trailer with a quad on it. MAybe headed out for an elk hunt. It got on the freeway going west at the 60 and valvista. I think you got off the freeway at mesa drive.

I live just off 31st and southern I know another guy lives right in this block also. so that makes three of us so far.

Oh yes those are Book cliff bucks for sure. I would cut off one of my Fingers for a drop tine like that. Both are studs. Thanks for posting

Hey Houston I like when he calls that big old bear in and all there is is a tree between them and then he hits it with bear spray. He syas that will scare the puddin out of you. You will like this video GH.

Hint. We did not hunt Archery back then. and both eye gaurds have that bend in them. it just does not look like it in the photos. In this photo you see the left one with the bend and in the photo gallary you see the right side. Or vice vs I guess it depends on how you look at it.

OK just to help pass time for those of us waiting for our deer hunts. See if this deer can be found in the phot gallary of this forums main site. It will help pass some time and also give a chance to see some great deer and read some good stories . No Amanda you can not come out and play with the other Kids on this one. Wayne Carlton makes a very high pitched one that work great. The trick is to sound like you are being shreded into bits while you are calling. It almost pisses them off. I was in 22 a few years back and had a big bear runnig into my carlton call at over 1000 yards away. He wanted to shut up what ever was making that scream. get his calling all bears dvd to it is good info.
