just got home. we filled two of the three tags we needed to. Saw a few more bucks and way to many hunters. I counted over 10 bucks the first day taken out of a 5 mile radious. We lost one buck the first morning after it was hit the fog rolled in and stayed thick for about fifteen minutes so after the second shot (missed shot) we lost him in the fog. We found blood and tracks for the first 20 minutes. then lost it do to the rain. I hate that more than any thing.

My cousin has a picture of one at a distance you can not make out the spots very well but he said it was good old unit 36. They have had black panthers in the san pedro river in St David Az also. A guy killed one about 12 years ago and was find up the wazoo. Do not forget about the Bigfoot that is running around too. THAT ONE I WILL SHOOT.

If you are from out of state this year you will have to wear blaze orange. We now have a vest for all out of state hunters that states your are from out of state in big black letters across the back remember things have changed a bit this year. Do not forget AZ is not a nice place anymore. Good luck on your hunt and do bring a coat.

The best unit is the unit with all the coues deer in it. I guess you should just ask for our favorite spot if your going to ask that. Another good spot is the spot my glasses will be glassing on opening morning Some people BLA BLA BLA. Other people for me to know and you to find out.

I don't know. I do know mine will not go across there. lots of people take them across. My cousin can buy them from a guy down there for about 1500 to 2000 A quad They even have clean paper work ( By then). THEY GET THEM FROM SOME PLACE if you know what I mean. By the way he has never purchased one of the quads , But he knows who to talk to.

I think your rack and the picture that bret posted on the dead elk sure look alot alike. Did you see the one killed in san carlos yet he looks alot like that too. Alot of trash points. I think they are awsome sheds josh thanks alot for sharing them. If you would let me I would like to post them on a site I use alot that has a hunting spot. A couple of friends I have would love to see them.

Very nice buck your son got for sure. If he is wearing your t-shirt then it looks like you are corn feeding a pack horse for your future hunts. My son is only 4 years old. I can not wait to share those times with him. thank yo for sharing the moment with us it sure brings back some good old times with my father. I registerd about 2 minutes ago and am waiting for the start up key to be sent to me via email. So far they have a picture of what looks like a eastern whitetail. We better get some coues deer posted on there to make it a good site. Could turn into a good site, But nothing will ever have the couesw deer knowledge as we have here on Amandas coues site.

I just got some OK photos of the bull and his cows that are always out in mormon lake.when the sun is out and you cant see in the veiw finder very well.I take my digital camera and put it in the right side of the binos. Then I take my right eye and put it in the left side of the binos. This way you can see were you are looking with the camerathrough the binos. the only hard thing about doing it this way is getting the picture centered. The best way is like bret said above and use the veiw finder if the light will let you.

Come on over to Rod's forum www.desertbepper.com. We are getting some good ATV and prospecting trips going. I think you learn alot more on it than any other forums out there. As soon as I am done with scouting and hunting for three coues clients I will be out nugget hunting more. I have seen some good oldtimer workings in some of my scouting areas That I plan on looking at after the hunts. Just think shed hunting scouting and nugget hunting all in the same canyons.

Redbeard I dont want to get off topic here to much but we need to hunt the great yellow stuff together some time. I am a prospector myself. If you want a good forum to join on the subject send me an email and I will give you one. I use an Old Gold Bug by fisher. I will not spend the three grand on the mine lab. Lets talk some more.

Are you just using a bugle on them. If you are then try doing cow calls. It will keep them calmed down and a bit more interested in coming out and talking more.

OK Lark you got it. We did some archery Elk Hunting this week end. We had them going ape sh#$ over my sexy cow voice and masculine bugle. We had two of them come to kick our butts but ran into each other at 20 yards from us that was a great show let me tell you. Our shooter did not conect with his bull of choice. Is that better for ya. Oh by the way to keep them with this topic We named them Bull one and Bull two. HAHAHAHAAHa
