Selling a Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter 300 Win Mag Barrel and Ammo as a package. Very few rounds down this one. Barrel is Stainless Steel, fluted, and 28 inches long. Comes with 23 rounds of Winchester Power Plus HV 180 grain, 14 rounds of Winchester Ballistic Silver Tip 180 grain, 2 unknown rounds, and 4 pieces of Nickel Brass. $400 for all of it. Trades towards a nice 357, 38 Special, or 44 Mag revolver, 223, 243, 7mm-08 rifles will be entertained. Can add cash as needed. I thought you might have one but wasn't sure because I couldn't understand putting a brake of a beautiful rifle and going through all of that to make it louder instead of just pulling out a 243, 7mm-08, 308 and donating that to a Youth Hunter? I think it has to do with the pressures involved between 30-06 and 45-70? I don't think I've ever seen a Contender barrel in 30-06 but maybe I'm wrong? Very nice piece!

Yes Sir. These stoves are workhorses that don't quit. They've changed a couple of things throughout the years buy the design is basically unchanged. Been using them for 20+ years.
