The safety lever is what locks the bolt. You can get an old style safety or trigger but need to mill the slot in the bolt body for the lever to lock into.

Check that the front base screw isnt bottoming out on the barrel threads and shorten it if it is. Also I use a dab of blue loktite on my screws.

Yep! Lead sleds damage stocks and scopes/bases/rings. They also aren’t the best to shoot groups from. Can’t get a good consistent cheek weld. Watch the front sling stud during recoil also. It can contact the front rest.

Yes they are the best. The knock offs aren’t near the quality.

To answer some questions this kit includes a cat 0750 filter, filter head rebuilt kit, billet spacer to move it away from the firewall and an aluminum bleeder plug also.
