I love my 94 44M but if I were doing it over I’d run the R92 in 45LC. Same receiver/barrels as their 454 Casull guns and an awesome carbine when loaded to “Ruger Only” pressures. man, if only I wanted to branch into another caliber right now… great carbine, good luck with sale!

Granted, you can get away with a lot but personally I prefer to be legal from the get go. I spent too many years putting distance between being a shitty person and who I am today.

AR has to be initially transferred as pistol. You cannot legally make what was a rifle into a pistol just by swapping parts.

Sgammo.com had S&B 180jhp in stock, not bad carry ammo and decent brass to reload-too bad its now more than twice the price it was when I bought from them in ‘18

V-Force Gamers with Exodus 125’s went right through my coozer (including off side shoulder blade) at 90+ yds and only started at 255fps. I may try a skinnier setup for penetration if I get another elk tag, but will stick with same gpi because I’ve tweaked for the best flight/momentum out of my rig.

New with tags, Element Outdoors Drive (lightweight) pants in their Stalker pattern. XL, (I’m a 33 and bought L and XL and am keeping the L, XL probably 34-36) $40 or trade for .284 162 SST’s, .308 165 BTSP Interlock, or IMR 4831, 4895 or 4350 powder. WLP primers would be good too. Field expedient check for level of muzzle erosion/wear. “Made from milsurp parts” would lead one to check muzzle and throat erosion to grade rifle. If it’s been rebuilt with anew barrel since entering civilian life it’s not a concern.

If you have a cartridge, can you stick it in the muzzle (bullet tip into bore) as far as it will go and post a decent close-ish up pic? i have a buddy that’s mentioned about wanting to get one...
