mulie hunter is good to go. Great trade deal, and very interested in helping others!

TRADED-Thanks mulie hunter!! Old (early 90’s) 4” .357 Taurus 66. They were modeled on the S&W model 19 K-frames considered by most to be much better than the later Taurus M66 7-shot models, on par with the Smiths for trigger smoothness and accuracy. There is some holster wear on the barrel. I’ve really enjoyed it, but am not a revo guy at heart. It has Pachmyr combat grips on it, and I have the original square bottom wood stocks around here somewhere. The pictured chest holster is a replica USGI M3, that I custom stretched to fit the Taurus and has been great for hunting for me (works well with bino harness and ruck). I also have a leather belt holster, and a couple of speedloaders. I’m looking to trade it for a hunting bow setup. I’d prefer 60-70# adjustable draw weight (had shoulder sx a few years ago and will need to work up, adjustable draw length would be good (rule of thumb tells me I need 29”, but I’ve never been fit), string/cables in good shape, sight, rest, stab, 32” min ATA, 10yr old max. Release, arrows, case would be a plus. Basically the whole huntable starter kit... only other trade interest would be Vortex Viper 12x50HD’s or Savage Axis 7-08 not interested in selling outright.

Looks like I have a trade pending

$350 trade value with the pachmyr’s and and leather. I’ve got some bullets/dies/brass if the offerer is a reloaded to bring trade value up some to a reloader.

I’ve got a pair of 1980’s Swaro Habicht SL’s that blow away my jap 10x42’s for short-mid range glassing, but they’re WIDE! I’d like to use them in the field but at 7”wx7.25”lx3.5”h I’m having a hard time finding a chest pak for them. Anyone know of any brands/mfr that will accommodate older, wider Porro prism glass?

I got a Savage Axis bolt knob from them last month via eBay and their comms were quick and they hooked me up with a model other than the one listed for the same price, change was arranged via eBay PM’s and they answered quickly. surprised, because I’d heard how hit/miss they were.

Go with the XJ if you’re into getting into rough areas. I asked around a lot before getting my hunting rig, and the XJ came out on top. Take care of cooling the motor and tranny and they are bulletproof and don’t break the bank if repairs are needed. Simple solid axle design 4x4. i found a 99 that had been an ASU vehicle (fleet maintained, never beat on), put on a 3” lift and 30” tires). Wasn’t interested in going down the rabbit hole of lifts/gearing/driveshaft mods etc. My XJ has been used three years for predator and coues hunting (and a backup daily driver to my Harley) and often finds itself where only side by sides can go. It won’t crawl big rocks, but it’s small size and short wheelbase make it amazingly capable in the field. -
I’ve got a Taurus old model 4” M66 357 (SW 66 clone) in good shape, with a belt holster and military chest holster (works great hunting w/pack). Great trigger, and shoots well. Has Pachmyr combat grips and I have the original wood stocks too. Great packing/hunting pistol. only trade I’m looking for is a set of Vortex Viper HD 12x50’s, preferably w/tripod adapter. not looking to sell outright, I really like it but got a 10mm to fill its primary role. east valley, Elliot/ValVista area.
