i wont say the outfitters name other than he is advertised one this site. its the first year he has hunted this ranch and they told him it has never been hunted i assume that means by a outfitter. on this ranch they saw no bucks a couple of does thats it . its a good thing he has 3 or 4 others to choose from it will be interesting to see how the hunts progress . and this outfitter has been hunting down their for quite a few years .

i have hunted lion and i am not a professional but i agree with wetmule . based on what i have come across and have talked to guys that tag lions for g&f and hunt lions for ranchers . that when two toms come across one another they will try to kill the other . they are very territorial. weve killed numerous toms out of the same canyon . when one dies another moves in the territory. so if they are in packs it most likely juveniles with females . females only tolerate their offspring for so long and when they kick the out they dont even want them in their territory its all about compititon for food for these lions just my two bits.

that video seems to pop up this time of year.

i saw a documentary on tv and i believe it was done by azgfd i may be wrong but they fenced off i believe a mile sqare had deer in it. out in the middle of the hills and they watched those deer in the fence and the ones free roaming for a couple of years and the only difference was out side the fence were the predators mainly coyotes. same rainfall and vegetation and the deer outside the fence didnt fare well compared to the ones inside the fence . anybody every here or see anything about this .

ive lion hunted down in 33 and 37b and guided and killed more lions than i care to count. i never realized how many lions their are until you acually start looking for them.

muley go to reloadersnest.com and scroll down to 257 weatherby good place to start.
-
excellent buck

i dont have the 257 weatherby i have 257 stw custom and i shoot the 110 accubonds and it is deadly it shoots a little faster we continue to kill coues and muledeer 4 to 5 hundred yrds consinstently the weatherby is a good choice my stw is shooting 13 or 14 inches at 500yrds you dont have to take the scope of the animal at that distance no aiming high . we found with the 110 accubonds most accurate with reloader 25 .
