Considering reasonable offers... Selling my Ruger mkIII hunter with fluted barrel in stainless steel. Pistol is pretty clean. Has fiber optic sights. Includes original Ruger hard case and manual, 2 original Ruger magazines, extra fiber optic inserts (red and green) as well as tactical rail to mount scope. I bought it used and put around 500 rounds without a hiccup (blazer or CCI mini-mags/stingers). $425 or trade for 16 pounds of unopened, sealed Varget powder. Will meet at Cabelas or QT parking lot close to the area.

I’m a new hunter and have been getting out doing some javelina scouting. I had a tag last year and ate tag soup because I didn’t do my homework like I should have. I’m determined this year so my question is, how can I learn how old certain tracks or scat are? I walked a wash today and found a pig run. Lots of scat along the way but it was very dry and fell apart when barely kicking it. I want to be able to tell if I’m following last years signs or an active area now.

Im brand new to Javelina hunting myself so I cant contribute too much with the exception is that there are a TON of people in jeeps and side by sides running all over that area behind Saguaro Lake. I would do my best to steer clear. Although, I havent had boots on the ground to scout for Javelina in that area I have been back there more than a few times off-roading to my favorite bass fishing spots and its always crowded.

We saw two boot tracks in this particular wash with no other signs of people being there before us. Wouldnt that be something if it was the same spot? LMAO

I’m going to go back out in the same spot on Sunday morning like PRDATR suggested after the rain and see what’s up. I’ll also be sure the “clean” a small section out to see if they still run the wash currently.

I know its a while out but Ill be expecting a litter of AKC English/American labs in May 2020. The litter will be papered. Sire is yellow (actually white in my profile pic) and Dame is black. Both dogs love going bird and squirrel hunting. My yellow goes with me in the field to scout in the offseason.

My 08 Tundra has 202K on it and I havent really had to do a thing other than fluids and filters. Toyota makes a dang good truck and thats why they fetch a pretty penny. Good luck in your search!
