Good on you knocking out that bedroom. Laying tile is no easy task. I prefer to hang the stuff. If you need help grouting I can run a bucket and sponge. I hate grout day! I imagine heck as grouting 3k sf of 1/4” grout joint. (Dove gray w/ slate tile) in a home withbout ac in the AZ summer.

I’ve cut Marble Granite with an electric tile saw. You don’t take a hose in one hand and the saw in other and spray down on everything. Lmao highly likely to get a jump start that way.

Not big on taking drugs or vaccines. I look at it this way. You have a weed eater and the weed eater has a guard to deflect errant rocks or debris. However It is within reason and good practice to put on safety glasses when running said machinery. I don’t think mandated is necessary but I also don’t have faith in people to not spill hot coffee on themselves or smoking while pumping gas. heck I watched a you tube video of a guy cutting granite with an electric saw plugged in to the house and he was pouring water on the saw to keep dust down. Made me think of faces of death.

My last 2 cents. You go to poker night with del and the next week you get a letter stating he came down 2 days after poker night with China flu. Your other buddy you carpooled with to poker night calls in sick because he isn’t feeling well either. meanwhile you kissed your kids goodnight the last 5 days in a row and oops they are exposed to the China flu. And they didn’t do anything to deserve this. They are staying home from school and not playing with friends and doing everything right and your poor choice of not wearing ppe spills into their reality. Excellent display of logic and deduction.

My 2 yo call bulls1t when I tell him jumping off the fireplace will bust his lid wide open. I follow protocol as It keeps everyone safe and as a professional I want to be surrounded by individuals that share the same mindset. I actually work with nastier stuff then when I was In the medical field and safety protocol couldn’t be more important. Worked to my benefit. hate to say it but you are not as free as you think. If the govt tells you to be in at 8p due to curfew you will fall in line or risk fines possible jail time. big brother will do as it pleases.

What benefit does the government gain from people making cloth masks from home. I’m curious. im not a fear mongeree. i have personally been in contact with some nasty sh1t over the span of years and I have wrestled with a cdiff patient covered in there own fecies. Done compressions on a droplet precaution patient while ever compression splattered all over me. I have had to restrain an HIV positive patient that pulled his IV and spewed blood all over me and my coworkers. None of these diseases can Home with me. Why? PPE and wiping down my garb and changing uniforms. I am not in the business of changing peoples minds. It’s hard to give perspective to people without physically showing them. One prime example that was an eye opener for me. I had no idea that a large percent of the population had both male and female body parts.however being on the medical side of things I have been subject to this reality. Now how do I explain this to a guy that cleans pools for a living if he hasn’t seen it first hand he would chaulk it up as bull sh1t or I am exaggerating.

Exposure is good. Comprehension is even better. I have a laundry list of working patients ranging from dead in parking lots, still borns, Stab victims You name it. I respect life and have taken personal risks putting my own health on the line to preserve or prolong the life of complete strangers. Call me a dumbass. Give me an award. Sounds like a fit issue. I wear a respirator for my job and if I gain weight or have 2 days of stubble it is a violation of the protocol. The seal is what protects me. These cloth and surgical masks are the best we got on a large scale cost effective measure to implement some sort of barrier or protection from droplet precautions. on my tour working in the ER we would have patients that would spit on us. They got a spit mask which was made of a mesh material to avoid suffocating the PT.Guess what happened when they tried to spit on us wearing the mesh spit mask.
