Thanks for sharing this.he was a great man. Lots of good hunters that aren’t on the internet. The biggest Coues I’ve seen was taken by a 70 yo man. On a solo. There’s also a guy from flag. Bird dog on here? Met him once seems to be on a different level as a Coues hunter.

Go on a scouting trip and drive tanks looking for tracks. Get him a map and compass teach him navigation. If he likes computers he should dig this aspect of hunting. Good luck out there

The gps with walkie talkie capabilities Is convenient. the spot is good for sos situations and sending “I’m ok texts”. I have both. The sos never gets used subscriptions been canceled for years
