Me. Lol. Who else loves blackpowder antelope and what is your poison. I shoot a CVA Optima V2 Long Range. 28 inch Bergara Barrel. 123 grains Blackhorn 209 and 250 gr8 Federal Bor Lock Bullets. Last year I got a doe at 263 yards with open sights. Have to obey all of Colorados Blackpowder laws so: open sights only, no sabets, only loose powder, and others -
Nice nice. Hope he is still around for you in couple weeks.

Agreed. Sorry for the blanket statement. Lol

Whats the Worst Archery Antelope Hunt?
DeathFromBelow replied to trphyhntr's topic in Antelope Hunting
The one where its 115 degrees outside the blind and 212 degrees inside. At least you can say you shot a goat in your underwear. -
Man people are just worthless.

Getting ready for my bear hunt and deciding which rifle I should use. I have lots of options but have narrowed it down to two contenders. Got the hunt at a charity auction and have talked with the rancher who donated it. I was told my shot would be between 300-400 yards. A 300 lbs bear is big for this area so I probably won't be looking through my scope at a 500 lbs bruin. So 6.5 Creedmoor with 140 grain accubond. Savage 10 Precision Rifle topped with 6-24×50mm Leupold vs Browning 7mm with 160 grain accubond topped with 4-16×40 Leupold. Those are the options. Lets hear what you think. Thanks.

DeathFromBelow started following Low life Camera thiefs

The vast majority of hunters wouldnt steal from another. But there are always the pieces of shoot in every bunch. I can't count the number of crawfish traps I've had stolen. Probably by people who dont even know what the heck it is. I hope you catch them. That many cameras probably puts it into felony theft. No guns for felons.
