You won't learn ANYTHING about "hunting" in Texas...😂

I couldn't agree more...^^^ ___ The trouble is for some reason a lot of them still kill then disrespect the little desert warriors, and I suspect many of those same guys waste the meat which is unacceptable. If they are such a low level piece of trash not worthy of anything more than being referred to as a "stink-a-lina", "stink pigs", "rats", or "rodents" then why would these "hunters" debase themselves and hunt such worthless stinky piece of garbage? It's confusing to me. I have no interest in pursuing something I have no respect, or admiration for... JMO

Translation: If you think Javelina stink really bad: You are most likely a very poor hunter that can't get/take a good shot on an animal that is near blind and will tolerate numerous mistakes. As far as Texas Javelina are concerned, I have been there twice killed Javelina both times and the ones in South TX were covered in fleas and ticks, the ones in West TX not so much.

More misinformation regarding Javelina...^^^ _ Go to TX and see if that holds true.

For those that like "participation awards" maybe...😂

Looks awesome! Love to see that.

I completely agree. Javelina are excellent table fare when handled correctly in that hands of people that care. It does take effort, so in the hands of lazy slobs it gets a bad rap...

Agreed

I thought that the pigs seemed to be up at first light this year, and then bedded again by 9 am, and then when they were up they were hanging around in the bottoms of canyons. VERY difficult to see them this year.

Are a lot of you guys seeing less Javelina/Javelina activity? I am kind of getting that feed back from A LOT of sources this year. I know we hunted 3 known areas hard this year and saw one sounder of 3 pigs. Was absolutely crazy. Hunted hard too, 8-10 hour days from dawn till dusk.(3 glassers) Everything was very green, but locals said it was a VERY dry year over all I guess? Just wondering what you guys think
