Looks like you have a good combination there, I hope the test and the hunt both go well and keep us posted.

If Al over at NOE had the gas check HP version of TLC313-150 RF in stock I think you would be good to go. The standard FN version isn't bad either as I know Ranch Dog who designed the mold has kill deer, yotes, as well as a few hogs down in TX using it in his bolt gun. Load Notes to go with the bullet as well. http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/bin/TLC313150RF/data/TLC313150RF_762x39_LoadNotes.pdf

    7.62x39?

Those are from my 1970 Yugoslavian,it was a refurb that I got to hand pick out of a full crate. After about two days of cleaning out all the cosmoline it appeared to have been re barreled. I ended up replacing the front sight post with a Tech Sight target post $7 shipped to my door which is about half the dia. or the original post it makes aiming small much easier, I ended up putting one on all my SKS rifles. My 1965 Chinese SKS I bought NIB shoots just as well without even tweaking the loads, I was lucky to get it as you just don't see NIB Chinese SKS rifle around these parts. I also recently picked up an 1952r Russian Black bolt NIB as well. I was over a friend house who had a couple still in the box in the back of his gun room when he purchased them many years ago. I paid $400 for it but I've always wanted a Russian an couldn't pass this one up being basically factory new, I haven't even put the first rd. through it yet but that day will come soon as soon as the weather turns nicer. I've been pretty luck with all my Mil Surp rifles including my Mosins as they have all been good shooters.
  4. I think the domain is no long working but you can still get the information on the site from the WayBack Machine Internet archives. The links still seem to work https://web.archive.org/web/20160119103553/http://www.reloadersnest.com/rifle.asp

    7.62x39?

I have been loading the cartridge for around 15 years in various SKS rifles I've pickup along the way all with excellent results. All of the Hornady 123 gr. .310" bullets in FMJ, SP an V-MAX have shoot really well for me. I've also loaded several different .311" dia. 150 gr. bullets as well including Sierra, Speer and the PPU 150 gr. BTSP bullets. The 150's tend to open up a bit over the .310's but I can still get groups that average around 1.5" or smaller with iron sight at 50 yds. which is perfectly suitable for the thick woods around here. I bought up a pretty good stash of those bullets that shot well for me years ago an put them in my rainy day stash. For about the past 10 or so years I've pretty much fed my X 39 rifles a steady diet or cast lead bullets I cast myself. The Lee .312" 160 gr. RN. Lee .312" 185 gr. RN as well as a custom NOE 155 gr. RNFP bullet all shoot as good as any jacketed bullet I've tried at a much lower per rd. cost. The little Lee .314" 32 cal. SWC isn't bad either with a light charge of Bullseye if you like a subsonic plinker/small game load that works just as good as any 22 rf. load. My favorite powders for Jacketed bullets are AA-1680, Reloader #7,IMR or H-4198, I get best result with the first two powders. I have some CFE Black as well I will be working up some loads with this spring. For cast lead Reloader #7 is a excellent crossover powder that works just as well, IMR or H-4895 is good with cast lead as well, it's a bit slow but using the heavier weight cast bullet it will put some smack down on steel plates. My main go to powder with the 160 or 155 gr. cast bullets is Alliant 2400 it build a nice pressure curve and cycles my SKS rifles with no issue. I Imagine with that CZ you have and a decent scope you can get some nice results handloading.
