like DBarcher said, we will be out there!!!! im stoked!! this is my first bear hunt... i dont know why i am so pumped to go hunting.... o yeah! because its hunting thats why!!!! gotta get the 270 WSM pumped and ready to go!!!! im wondering if i should take out my predator slayer ( the OLD 270 of mine, my lion kiler) im thinking by about 2 or 3 Daniel and i will be up to our arms in bear guts, i dont know if im going to be able to pack out my bear whole, i MIGHT have to actually cut it up! whos gonna fund my rug?

i have been running between 1.5 and 2 miles with my fat dog 3-5 times a week. as well as lifting weights at my house. i am pretty active at work and am pretty strong as it is but i am working on gettin better. my main thing is i have been working on my legs! when i get the chances, i have been taking my dogs out and my pack with what i will carry in it when i hunt along with 10-20 extra pounds. i am gettin serious this hunting season as it is 80+ or bust so i am gettin ready for a tough hunt.

lark, i have a new name for ya... chistiso.... bullet placement is the number 1 no matter what. but something that i dont think has been pressed enough is bullet construction. Jim ( Coosefan) talked about his bullets not opening up, it dont matter if you drill a bull at 10000000 yards if the bullet doesnt do what its supposed to. i shoot out of my 270 and 270 wsm 140 accubonds. i killed a coues at 250 yards with the WSM and a lion at about 15-20 feet. the deer had small wholes coming in, and quarter to 50 cetn piece whols going out. lion same thing. even at over 3000 FPS the bullet held together and had controlled expansion. if you are looking at shooting that far, i would look at the 140 accubond, 130 interbond or TSX. they all have high ballistic coefficients and are known for good accuracy and dependable expansion ( no matter what chistiso says)

i got mine but fortunately, they did something right and sent me a november 36b tag, i was hoping they would spell november like this D_E_C_E_M_B_E_R but i was wrong, dang!

i have the rino 110. it has a radio and GPS in one. the cool thing is if you are tlaking to some one on the radio who has the same unit, you can go directly to them, it shows u where they are. i love em!

personally, i think that would make it more like waiting in line then actually having to have 'the luck of the draw' if you HAVE to take time off of a species, i would not be happy with that at all! i think the system in AZ is jacked up,but i would hate to see it go to waiting in line than anything else

this draw is ran so crappy, if the results are supposed to be out on august 1st, that gives the people who draw archery antelope tags 10 days to scout, tune their equipment, get all their crap ready to go, makr plans, get time off of work! personally, i think that this years draw is ridiculus but atleast i got a deer tag out of it if it is a december tag, then i think this is the best draw we have ever had!
