first and second bull both have a 'target' right over there heart, but different antler configurations, thats weird!

see, its shots like these i excell ( because i carry a ton of ammo) 1. shoot near the buck you want to harvest, get him onhis feet. 2. shoot agian, not quite a clear enough shot. 3. clip that twig that is covering the heart 4. shoot at the heart and miss! 5. shoot and hit the shoulder, and lungs 6. hes down but heck im still shootin 7. (Keith, i saw an ear move, better shoot agian!) heck, that aint bad for me!

i think deer run when they hear anything out of the ordinary. if they dont run, they go on attention and if they still hear it, they usually bolt.

honestly, i hate everyone who has had a hit on their cards!!! i have been checking moms card all day and nothing!!! i called her and asked her very nicely to call the back tomorrow ( one of her 3 days off) and ask if there are any pending charges and how much they are. she gave me the whole have patience BULLSH!T and i said mom, do you realize WHAT you are talking about and WHO you are talking about this to!!!!! she still says i need to be patient i said u need to wake up!!!! if anyone would like to email her and explain the state of emergeny that she does not realize this is, PM me and i will give u her email address!!

Manny, just a question for ya, not trying to be a smart butt but do you think that if that 'piece' of a deer is so tiny that you cant tell if it is a deer or not with the binos, do you think you will be able to find it with the spotting scope using one eye? Jim, that is what hunting is to me. when i get older and maybe hunt by myself maybe i will hold out for 100+ but as of right now, i am young and just want the experience and the memories under my belt. yeah a big ole buck looks good on the wall and great in pictures, but i am perfectly happy with my 84" 3x3, my 3x2 (which actually would have been a really nice buck, he had palmation and a start of a drop tine :X ) and my little spike on the wall. i am perfectly happy with them and while a 110+ would look AWESOME on the wall, if it happens then awesome! if not, im fine with it!

i am not a trophy hunter and do not use a spotting scope. if i can tell from a mile or so away that the deer is a buck than he is big enough for me. if i can tell the buck has nice mass, maine beams or lenght with 3 or more points, he is going down! unless its the last day or the first day, first day needs to be kinda bigger, last day, anything breaking the skin works for me! i dont see the sense of packing around a pair on ur neck, a pair in the pack AND a spotting scope. thats alot of money sitting in the pack and a lot of weight also! i can see if you are a trophy hunter after a booner and/or you have the money to burn on 3 sets of optics. i am/have neither so if my Zeiss 15x60's cant put horns on em then there arent any!

type of lift not sure, bought the truck with it on there. i have always liked fabtech

i have a 6" lift on my GMC and allthought it works wonders on the ladies and actually isnt bad on gas with 35" tires and a v8 ( 16 on the freeway) it is a little rough on the ride. i have a wind river spotting scope that i would be willing to part with, i think it has been used like 2 times MAYBE. it comes with 2 bags to carry it and a small tripod.

ya'll need to stop postin under this topic! when i come on and see two more pages of replies, it makes me think that the draw has been done! especially when my cell phone is dead so Doug cant call me and tell me what i drew like he did last year! this has got to stop! you all need to get a life ( HAHAHAHA same as me) hunting isnt everything ya know!!! theres scouting, shooting, hiking, hunting (shoot!) i mean fishing, shooting, scouting, hunting (dang)!!! this needs to hurry up! i mean, i alrady know i drew unit 1 antelope, unit 1 elk, 36b december, and what ever unit i put in for for sheep but i want you all to find out soon also!

HAHA! yeah, doug packs the kitchen sink! and believe me, it aint light!!!!! you should see what my dad packs! my old f150 has the thing packed to the brim! and ithad a camper shell! my new truck doesnt so i dont know what were gonna go! we may just have to hike from the main road to where we hunt, dont wanna get no scratches on my pretty truck!

hey guys thanks! had a good time each night! last night was am EXPENSIVE one!!! lost $300 at the dang casino here in Tucson! BUT on the other hand, i ended up getting my truck fixed (AC, fan cluthc and all) for $70!!!! the guys in tucson said my fan clutch was fine and said there is a leak from my ac but the pressure was fine.

Sundevil, not last night, but tonight o yeah its on! i turn 21 at midnight! i dont know where the heck that came from but it sure would be nice!! maybe thats a sign that a 36b december tag is headed my way!! woohoo!!! if it does! man those deer better watch out! i have the whole hunt off of schol and getting it off of work would be sooo easy cause were soo slow! i would honestly hunt like every day! come home with nothing but 100+ ok... i need to shut up im getting all excited and im probably going to be stuck with a dang november tag again!!
