you wont be let down, i really like mine. the gun holder makes for a great tripod carrier that way you dont have to mess with zippers when you want to glass. then, when i carry out my rifle just put the tripod in the pack and the gun in there... works great! the bladder holder fits my platypus PERFECTLY!!!

Two Coues Bucks

those are some nice bucks! that second buck looks like a big 3x2 with eyeguards? -
i think they point on the advance in technology (binos, game cameras) is a very good point. becase we can see so far and basically, where ever we want, we can look for lions all day. there is no way to fight it that lions do their fair share, maybe more of killing deer. i dont know about the whole deal that a lion will kill a deer a week, dont know how much i believe that because i think if a lion killed a deer a week, there would be carcasses literally everywhere... think about it one lion killing 52 deer a year... i think we would have a whole lot more bodies found. fact of the matter is lions, along with ( i believe) lack of rain fall, and houses popping up right in the middle of the coues country are factors that are affecting the population the most. coyotes add to that as i think they take a few more deer (mostly fawns) then people give them credit for taking.

Saw a buck this weekend with a all white tail and but. i had never see this before, his was was white on BOTH sides and and his but was white farther out around to the legs than any other deer i have ever seen.any one else seen this?
-
agreed. there is no doubt that lions do their fair share, but many other things attribute to the hurting of the herd as well.

Guess the score?

hunted browns canyon last feb. thats where i got my pig and there are ALOT of deer in there! i should have known it wasnt peck canyon, as peck is 36b. guess i should read more closely
-
you cant legally keep it, but those other hunters cant shoot it and just leave it lay. if it was me who saw them, i would have asked for names and a license plate if possible. that is illegal and that crap ticks me off. show some respect and compassion for the animal.
-
looks like that last buck was shot with a ballistic tip or some sort of "soft" bullet, looks like th ebullet simply exploded on the shoulder and did nothing other than surface splash. that is a good shot too! with a accubond, partition, or interbond, that deer would have dropped! congrats on the succes, peck canyon area?
