For one that's not a spike, its a branch antlered bull! Two, it sounds like she handled the shooting part like a pro! I really enjoyed this. Great work!

OUTDOORSMANS TALL TRIPOD WITH OUTDOORSMANS PAN HEAD ALSO NEOPRENE LEG COVERS Used on half a hunt. Just didn’t suit me. Super light and sturdy. Except for a little dust it’s 99% new. I don’t see any scratches but I’m sure there’s probably one. I will separate head and tripod if both sell. $825 for both OBO. ($500 tripod and $350 head both OBO). Manfrotto 190X Aluminum 3-Section Tripod (MT190X3) Has been my backup tripod, hardly ever used. Just dusty with a few dings from riding in the truck everywhere. $125 OBO Available for FTF in Tucson, Casa Grande, Queen Creek area. Add $15 for shipping on each.

Both are SPF.

Kolpin Stronghold Gun Boot XL with Lock & Ride Kolpin Stronghold® Auto-Latch Boot Mount 100% brand new never mounted. Box looks like crap because it came that way. I bought this from Polaris and decided to mount a spare tire in my bed. Not enough space for both. Would cost almost as much in shipping to return. $125 OBO *this one needs to be FTF*

The atlas part comes off and is can be used as a pack frame. Exact weight is unknown. It's not listed on the sight, but it's pretty dang light.
-
Outdoorsmans says it can safely hold 90#

Quit trying to flex you dang gorilla. I will see if I can find that answer.

This is awesome.

Just got my son a 410 (Thanks Tim). Looking for some ammo. I'd love to get something non toxic to shoot ducks with.

I bought a Remington Versamax 2 years ago and it has been perfect. Duck, quail, dove, turkey. Shoots everything wonderfully.

Only been to that place once but I liked it.

I would like the 410 for my son

Thats really awesome! These youth hunter topics hit different with my son being so close!

I imagine something underneath the rear of the gun just magnifies how steady the set up is!

Finally, my son is almost 10! He will be ready to hunt next year and I enrolled him for the online hunters safety course yesterday! Looking for the best ways to plan on setting him up for the shot. I am going to have a brake installed on my 257 wby. I have seen a lot of people use the claw set up. That seems like a great way, and will work as we will have two tripods anyways (mine and his). What else should I look into? Bipod of course, but that might bring issues based on size, grass etc.

Claw, whatever they are called, Like I posted in my other post, son is about to start hunting and I think this is going to be the best bet for him. Ammo to trade, or buy flat out.
-
Thanks Kev, I just bought one a few days ago.

This is all 100% up to my son. He can't wait. We ate going duck hunting tomorrow and he already has his picked out, belt, and my .22 pistol ready to roll.

Like I said I don't believe that I ever adjusted my sights. I did make sure to put light and knocks on all of my practice arrows and shot them that way all summer.
-
I don't believe I had to move my sights at all when I put them on. But they are fantastic and I highly recommend them.
