Are bipods really worth the extra weight?

I love mine. It does add a fair bit of weight but I have used it many times. I have also used my shooting attachment on my Jim White tripod head.

    Very Curious....how many tags

I've had 4 tags. One late rifle bull (drew it on my first application, spike bull was my first big game kill). One juniors only cow tag in unit 1, one in unit 27, and a early cow tag in unit 7e when I was in college. Basically, 4 tags 3 cow, 1 bull.

    Varmint/predator rifle?

I did have A LOT of luck with the 22-250 and 50 grain ballistic tip. I now shoot the same bullets in my AR-15 and they work great. Killed my javelina with that combo. No exits, great amount of damage.

Interesting rifle, I can't imagine they made too many of those in the left hand configuration.

    Once in a lifetime?

Oh, and for everyone reading this: Buddy of mine from work didn't even know that AZGFD had completed the draw, let alone put out the results. As I basically forced him to check the results the M@#@%(er drew an antelope tag on HIS VERY FIRST TIME APPLYING! Unit 8 muzz hunt. Can you believe that sh!t?!

It's "whole" and not "hole", Casey. Just a pet peeve of mine, you know. The w on my keyboard is like a female... Only works when it wants to (I am on a different computer right now )

    Once in a lifetime?

I think we can all agree wildlife as a hole are poorly managed. Our wildlife is managed for the wrong reasons, $$ instead of quality or health of the herd. It is not the problem of the game wardens, as they try their best to manage for the right reasons, but the guys and gals above them who haven't seen the field in God only knows how long think they know more about what the boots on the ground see and hear all the time.
  20. Mr. O'Connor had fine taste in rifles. When he started getting of social status, his rifles were very contemporary, and of high end design/manufacture. I do believe he would have something like a Kimber Montana, but more then likely he would have a NULA in 280AI, or something in 270wsm built on a CRD action.

    End Bonus Points!!

You're really b!tching about drawing a tag once every three years and then having to wait a whopping 2 weeks to find out what you drew? Boo hoo, go get your self a Kleenex and some Vagisil. I haven't been drawn in 10 years, and my brother only drew a Jr's only tag once out of three years.
