Looking to sell a mid to late 80's C prefix model 700 Custom Deluxe with Leupold one piece base and dual dove tail rings, with Vari X- II 3-9x40 gloss scope with standard duplex. Rifle has been hunted, has a few spots of surface rust that I cleaned up the best I could, nothing serious. The rifle also had a 1" stock extension making the LOP 14.5". The stock was not cut it appears so it should be easily reversible. Looking for $625 FTF, $650 shipped. As we all know, we lost a member, Dan Nogales to a heart attack earlier this year while he was deer hunting. Dan had connections to many of the members here. Scott, who knows him on a different level then all of us decided to mount his buck for his kids as a keep sake and give the buck to his kids in time for Christmas.

Did you get his license plate, and his full name by chance? A bill of sale with name and autograph would be rather incriminating evidence.
